I broke my nice headphones and have been in the market for something for a few weeks. Found this on ebay today, Factory refurbished HD660S for $299 and you can apply the 15% off code (SAVEONCR15) to take $44 off. I live in a state with sales tax so ended up $281 out the door.
These headphones are $500 brand new

Nice try though troll.
I love both, just sayin (and as a hobbyist I've spent about $15k in headphones this year alone, buying/flipping everything under the sun).

My experience with 660s vs 6xx:
I've spent a lot of hours with 660s and used 6xx for a little bit. I prefer 660s -- to me they sound "tighter" and while they emphasize vocals, they're not quite as forward as 6xx. I hear more Instrument detail and separation with these. They take EQ well, so you can tune with the Qudelix to the sound you like. Both are great though and these are relatively small differences.
If you're looking for a ton of bass or a wide, immersive soundstage then look elsewhere, otherwise this is a great combo of sound and comfort.
I sold my HD600 and HD650 after getting the 660S last year. I find it to be the best of the bunch. It's a keeper for me. Also currently have a Clear an Elear w/Elex pads an Ananda and a K712 Pro.
