I say this as someone whose used Android since Cupcake on Samsung Galaxy 1 btw. I've owned and tried 7 different android phones over the years and at best they performed as well as the iPhone 12 Pro I got last summer does. I still miss Android sometimes, but it's easy to see why IPhones lead the way if you can afford it. They just set a really high bar that's designed for everyday use and most situations.
But what we we cannot deny is that when Apple "introduce" a feature, it's most likely always polished, complete, properly and fully working. They focus on few hardware versions and ensure quality in those. It also helps that they control both the hardware and software.

I am with RedPocket. Any suggestions regarding how to deal with the situation are weclome.
I used this to unlock it
Unlocking
WITH SIM CARD OUT and CONNECTED TO WIFI here's a good step by step.
Its settings -> wifi & network -> Sim&network -> At the bottom "network unlock". I requested permanent unlock,
It might take a couple of minutes or even fail. If it does fail just do it again until it works
Wow, we are in the exact same boat. I am with Red Pocket AT&T, too. Thanks for sharing.
Just wonder if the device will work if we switch to GSMT...
