I haven't found this to be remotely the case in my use. Smooth as butter, very quick and haven't had the first bug or glitch.

Be aware that if you are a Cricket customer looking for a phone to use on their network this will NOT work starting February of 2022. It has to be the IN2015, which the T-Mobile version is not.

Never understand why they make it so difficult to unlock Carrier phones in USA, not perticular on this model but in general what's the point of using CDMA technology, the whole world use gsm, when I was in UK I purchased different like new phones on ebay but not anymore, so expensive data compared to other countries and difficult to unlock phones for no reason

When you have a massive net work with best coverage using cdma you're not going to change over overnight. It's in the past now anyways. Just different bands for 4g and 5g. Phones get locked for commercial reasons. Usually a cheap or free phone so the network needs to make it back in contract and force the phone to stay on their own network. Sometimes that gets in the way in these kinds of deals.

$350 is a pretty solid deal for the OnePlus 8T, but there's a good chance the 8T could drop down to $250 or $200 like the OnePlus 8 did. I'm gone wait it out a little longer.

This is true, but you also run the risk of them just completely going out of stock and never seeing them at that price point as the dead stock trickles down. I grabbed one for my dad. This is probably the last real Oneplus phone before the merger where they lost thier original direction. With these specs, I plan to use it well past the October 2024 EOL (I am using a 5T myself with Derpfest A12).

I have an old 8t now and I am wondering if it worth it to trade the old one in for the new. The benefits will be new screen, new battery, better water protection as my screen cracked somehow on the back and had to put $18 cheap one. The con will be extra $100 to replace the same phone. Original 8t was free from T-Mobile for trading in 7t.
