If anyone still has problems with using studentbeans discount...here is my comment posted in thread:
"Using studentbean discount to work is a huge pita. Took me like 20/30 tries to make it work. Try this. No AdBlock, go to your account. Click on discount program from list on left. Should show verification status as verified. Make sure you have validtimes 1/3 or more. Then click on view. Then scroll a bit to select your offer section. Click shop now in education program. Scroll down. You should see 'congrats...' scroll more to see list of phones. Click on oneplus8, make sure it says $237.66. now select color. Don't click add to cart or buy now. Select 'Price Details' that on left bottom. Brings a popup with price 237.66. click add to cart in that popup. Click continue. Takes you automatically to cart sheet animation. Should show $237.66 in cart. If not, delete item from cart, try all steps incognito, or delete cookies, or new browser. Good luck!!"

I am not very sure whether it will works after Feb 2022 after AT&T phases out 3G network. In AT&T certified list, it only says '8 (IN2011, IN2013, IN 2017)', hope this work is one of these three models.

AT&T works on band 2, 4, 5, 12, 17, 29, 30 and 66 and OP8 supports all these 8 bands. I dont see a reason why there would be a problem once AT&T phases out 3G

It's being sold directly from one plus I would say the warranty would be valid for 1 year. I have never heard of a manufacturer declining a warranty on a product bought directly from them.

If CSR is in india, why would impact your phone? Once unlocked, it should work in India. Just make sure you know which supported bands are compatible with phone and select that service provider. OP8 5G supports 25+ 4G bands Worldwide

WITH SIM CARD OUT and CONNECTED TO WIFI here's a good step by step.
Its settings -> wifi & network -> Sim&network -> At the bottom "network unlock". I requested permanent unlock,
It might take a couple of minutes or even fail. If it does fail just do it again until it works
Did someone try with a different SIM to make sure it actually unlocked successfully?

USPS noticed it is delivered today at 1:48pm at/in mailbox, but nothing inside. The mailbox has a lock on it.
Contacted USPS, they have no idea,no answers.
DHL is not reachable because it requires a 10-digit tracking number that I don't have.
Contacted OnePlus 3 times, they just asked me to wait for another day and another day, finally, a manager agreed that they will investigate it which takes 5-7 business days. The phone does not depreciate and I can be patient forever, right?
Did someone try with a different SIM to make sure it actually unlocked successfully?
