Had this before and while it is an excellent drone spend the money and get a mini 2. The transmission system is significantly better. Air 2 and air 2s are obviously much better but those are different price points

Looks like a stock clearance since it is already 2 year old and Mini 3 is going to be released soon. FYI, Amazon started selling this model for the same price about a week ago

I think the mini 2 is worth the extra chunk of change. 4k is beautiful and will be industry standard minimum soon (IMHO). Raw photos, double transmission distance, better wind resistance, more features

It was $230 on Black Friday for the fly more combo and $200 for the drone only w 3 batteries. It's not Black Friday so this isn't a terrible deal. The charging hub is nice, otherwise you have to use micro usb to the drone itself and in my experience it's super slow. Video quality decent. Video transmission range is bad though, nowhere near the 2+ miles they say. Maybe it would be better in a remote area as I have a lot of wifi networks around my house.

Note that there is no legit app for Android. I bought this on BF, and there is no app on the store that supports this. You have to directly install an apk from their website. I'm not personally a fan of bypassing the store

it's that what android is all about, bypassing the play store? are you suggesting the google devices should be more like iphones and contain their users into just whatever is available thru the app store?

The one for $230 on Black Friday was refurbished. This one is brand new. If you're going to compare price, you should also have mentioned that.

I didn't suggest that at all, and I would imagine the large large majority of android users do not directly install apks. I'm just letting any potential buyers know they have to install a not-in-the-store app, from a Chinese company, to use the drone. I'll admit I'm ignorant to what review happens to publish in the play store, but I'd feel better if it went through the full process.

If my comment made any suggestion, which again, it did not, it would be that dji publish their app on the play store.
