It was pretty easy to call you a troll. You continue to ignore all other points about this laptop and only fixate on the graphics card (which i addressed with my performance experience on this). You failed to bring any real life experience comments about this laptop.

As far as CPU goes...yes, it is a great processor. I'd say being able to hold its own against the M1 chips from Apple is a decent start. But again, please feel free to share your own wisdom other than just ignorant blanket statements:

https://www.pcworld.com/article/3...pared.html

And yes, this deal that makes popular or front page continuously must mean it has no value or not considered a deal. Since you fail at reading comprehension, I will say that the last statement is full of sarcasm.
Maybe at full price. But on sale this is a great machine. Lightweight, convertible design, tall aspect ratio w/ touch screen (at 120hz) that is higher than 1080p (most gaming laptops don't have touch). The funny thing is if people hammer it for the gaming chops and a "weak" 3050ti. But this is geared towards those who do not PRIMARILY game. For that, go ahead and buy the gaudy and heavier devices if you care about that power so much.

This is sleek, looks like it can fit in an office and is an excellent media and productivity device. The CPU is wicked fast, and when I do want to play games on this I have a great time. Forza 5 horizon I can get 90 fps with decent settings that still look gorgeous on this display. On modern warfare I can get 100-115 fps with medium/high.

For those interested, don't let the trolls deter you. If you want a "do it all" type of device, this is it. I've owned Razer Blades, Macbook Pros, etc. This has been my favorite laptop so far of all time. Basically, if you're a gamer sweat only, don't get this. If you're a casual gamer or even more than that, and want an ultraportable that really does check a lot of boxes, this is it. For this price you can do far worse.
This is under 3lbs... show me a laptop this size/weight with the same specs?

CES in a few days , so if anyone wants to wait and see what's coming this year.

I got mine just yesterday, this tiny laptop is such a beast, haven't had a laptop with a dedicated gpu in quite a while so I might be behind but it runs games really really well. It's also marginally slimmer than the thinkpad t14s.
Screen colors are very good.
It also works with the surface pen for drawing, etc so it's like a budget surface book/studio with a beefy spec.
There's one thing bad I noticed with mine, the touchpad makes a sound when you tap it, it's pretty annoying.

I recently got the acer swift x with 3050ti for $800. This one seems tempting as it is a little lighter and has a touchscreen
I went for a T14 gen 2 instead of a swift x because of the build quality, can you tell me about your experience with the porduct, and how did you get it for as low as 800$

Personally I like it a lot. The build quality isn't as good as others, but other than that I dont have many complaints. I wish the trackpad was glass, but it still works good. Battery life is really solid as well. I got it on a refurb ebay deal directly from acer with 2 year warranty.

How does this compare to the MSI E13 flip?

I picked up an open box and both my charger and laptop get really hot, over 130F degrees surface temp under full load.

I have been using this laptop for about a month. I like it a lot but the little plastic parts at the corners that prevent the screen to touch the keyboard when you close the lid came apart. I am returning it tomorrow. Other than that, mine is cool and fast.

Thanks for this, didn't realize these were a thing. Hoping ultra portables with gpus are here to stay. Never been a fan of two in ones because of the reflective screens and windows lack of palm rejection. Also have had 2 failed desktop asus motherboards and 1 failed asus laptop motherboard so trying to avoid asus, this acer seems perfect for what I need

Can you charge using either usb-c port? Just curious as I'd assume one of the ports will likely always have the charger connected to it.

I can confirm both sides work for charging

Same deal from 2weeks ago . Great price for what this laptop offers though . I really wanted to know how is the stylus
From best buy when I got it there was no stylus, but it works with any mpp 2.0 (surface styluses) just fine. 4096 pressure levels, same experience as newer surfaces, but I think the screen is just slightly worse experience, as it's got a bit more inward shift when pressing a pen against it. Not quite as solid as the surface book I've used before, but absolutely useable when you get accustomed to it.

Also, for anyone wondering about the RTX 3080 dock performance, it's not RTX 3080 level, it's more like high wattage 3060 or low wattage 3070 mobile level, the ports and charging is nice, but I wish they brought the cheaper RTX 3070 version to the us market, because there's barely a performance difference between them. The docking can be a little finicky sometimes, but coming from a surface book owner, it's miles above the dedicated keyboard GPU docking on that one. When running metro Exodus with ultra raytracing 1440p (external monitor), quality dlss, 90-100+ fps on average. Cyberpunk can get around 60 with medium raytracing+rt reflections and high settings at 1440 and performance dlss, but dips to 40 in certain spots. The difference over the 3050 to is huge, but the 3050 ti can still manage medium ray tracing and medium setting in cyberpunk with performance dlss and hold 30fps at 1920*1200.

Just picked up one today open box for $1,083 OTD. Just did a fresh restore on it and getting the Asus management software back on it now. I'll try to report back on my experience for anyone interested. I'm an avid Surface Pro user, so this was an intriguing alternative as an upgrade from my Surface Pro 6. I've used a Surface Pro as my primary machine since the 2. I use it as a tablet to write notes and give presentations from and dock it at work and home office for regular office use.

I ended up returning it today. It was a hard decision but there are some clear issues with the USB-C ports displaying consistently to external monitors. I did some googling and found it's a known issue. I couldn't have it not working smoothly with my office setup, so I'm back to the Surface pro 6 for now. Overall I loved the design and feel of the device. It was super snappy and easy to use. It definitely gets very hot when using the discrete GPU but that's to be expected in this form factor.
