A few large stacks of various models. Might be local. Maybe someone at Home Depot accidentally ordered dehumidifiers when they meant to get humidifiers.
Can't find it online at HD, DDR050BLPBDB-ME is model number. I have picture but guess I can't post pictures?
My experience is that the built-in pumps that come on dehumidifiers are weak, likely to die before the actual unit. So, I suggest buying a good dehumidifier, and then a separate condensate pump to drain the water into. Just my $0.02.
That's what I did. They're strong and made to last for years.
Went looking for this and ended up finding a 70pt Frigidaire and 50pt Toshiba for $65 or so each. Guess dehumidifiers are clearance at the moment at HD. 08528 Area Code (NJ)
Or run it on timer and just empty the bucket every week. It's not that bad.
Every week, lol. In the summer my dehumi runs all day / every day in the basement, I'd have to empty the bucket 3 - 4 times daily to keep up. Hence, automation via condensate pump.

Ok that makes sense if you run it 24/7. I have mine on timer and I don't run 24/7.
This must be suuuuper YMMV, all the Home Depot around me don't even have a single Danby unit of any type. In fact their dehumidifier selection is just a handful of Toshiba and GE.

I too only saw GE and Toshiba in the normal area for them. There were 2 pallets of the Danby 40 and 50 pint by the Pro desk. I had to specifically ask for the Danby for $68 and was directed to the area by Pro desk.
None available at Woodhaven HD, Queens NY. Only saw GE and Toshiba units at full price.
See my above message. Same for me, but asked specifically for the $68 Danby and was directed to an area by the Pro desk. 2 pallets of 40 and 50 pint there. Maybe the queens store was the same. I can confirm we have them on the island.

I wasn't sure either but I just looked it up on the internet. My curiosity has been fulfilled.
"The dehumidifiers impacted are 25-, 30-, 35-, 45-, 50-, 60-, 65-, 70-, and 74-pint dehumidifiers with the brand names including AeonAir, Amana, ArcticAire (Danby), Classic (Danby/Home Hardware Stores), Commercial Cool, Danby, Danby Designer, Danby Premiere, De'Longhi, Edgestar, Friedrich, Generations (Danby), Haier, Honeywell (JMATEK/AirTek), Idylis, Ivation, perfect aire, SuperClima, Whirlpool and Whynter."

Here's a picture of a 2 of the ones they had.

I purchased a Danby from Costco when one GE crapped out over the Summer and it's been fantastic. Hopefully these are just as good.
Here's the correct Brickseek link, I believe

My store only has the white, where it looked like the OP's store had all black.
Here is the Brickseek link for the ones I purchased.
