Project Farm did not test these hex shank drill bits (at least not in that video). The round shank set he tested, A10D14G, is made in China while this hex shank set is from Indonesia.

There are tons of non-hex shank sets that are better, the whole point of this set is to be hex shank so can be used with impact drivers - no need to carry two tools. There is no reason to recommend regular round shank drill bits vs this set, and it is the cheapest brand name hex shank drill bit set you can find. Day and night better than $8 set from Harbor Freight and such. Hex shank DeWalt is $25. Sure it is a better set - for 300% of the price https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-1...t/50434518. I don't about that guy, but I do keep a set of titanium bits for important projects, where I know they are sharp and hasn't been overheated. I do have a beater set that has been used a lot and probably isn't the sharpest.

Similar idea, I also have a daily driver car, and a nicer car. The daily driver I take to home depot, where people have banged into my paint when trying to load long mouldings. True story, and I have a deep and long paint scratch in my car. No, they didn't leave a note, lol
