People make homemade laundry detergent with this. They microwave it to soften it and grate it. Then mix it with borax.

I bit one of the last times it was posted, not very impressed. Didn't remove fresh (treated immediately before washing) or older (washed once, treated and rewashed) automotive grease stains, nor did it remove yellowing from white collars. Used it as directed by wetting the area, rubbing in the bar, and washing.

Maybe it's better as a booster than a stain treater, but YMMV

I've never used the product before, but I have seen it in the grocery store. For $0.88, sure I'll bite.

My front loader soap tray is big enough to accommodate one of these. It just sits in there as hot water fills my drum with soapy water picking up small amounts of fels naphtha into the wash. For 88 cents, just using it as a wash booster. Can't say whether it's helped at all or not but laundry smells a little better.

The secret laundry detergent and dishwashing detergent is made for Melaleuca. It is just better than anything we've tried. The stuff isn't a slickdealer's ideal choice but I like filmless drinkware a lot.

This has been the same price for at least a year. I'm not sure why it keeps getting reposted. I do use this as S&S filler.

Haven't gone thru a single bar yet though.

I have heard that this works well for getting rid of mothball smells. That smell can really stick.

I got this - what the hell. Cheap item to get to 5 for S&S anyway.

One thing I can never figure out is how hard it is to find things on Amazon. I like to go through Amazon Smile for my purchases, so I usually have to do a search for the item after I go through the Amazon Smile link. I usually check recently viewed items, but nope, wrong one (I think they try to up-sell you here). I entered the ASIN number, it says no number found. WTF? Finally just went back to the original link on SD. I'm sure the charity contribution for an $.84 item would be about $.01, tops.

My ex husband was highly allergic to Poison Ivy and used fels naptha on his poison ivy. Not sure if that's safe or not but he swore by it!

I just read this contains titanium dioxide which isn't great for your skin, or the planet's skin.
Titanium dioxide is how just about every pigment gets its white component. A majority of plastic, paint, cosmetic, etc. Even your Dove soaps for sensitive skins use it for their white color.
