Ships and sold by Amazon.com (avoid 3rd party as much as possible)

Ships out between Jan 28-Feb 3
it's been steady at $17 since Sep-Oct '21 but more as an FYI as some schools have started to require than a face mask.

A legit box of 3M masks includes 3M safe guard.
On the bottom of each individual box there are 2 sets of numbers above the expiration date. Find the numbers then Go to 3M dot com /safeguard & enter them..
get a green check mark = legit 3M N95 masks
FYI: The numbers can only be entered &verified one time

every box of 3M masks has its own unique set of numbers which can then be authenticated by the purchaser via 3M. If a manufacturer authenticates the product AFTER you've purchased it….
What more proof do you need?

ALSO. Before putting a N95 Mask on your face
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS b/f you stretch out the straps & cause them to snap.
N95's are supposed to fit snug b/c snug = tight seal.
A N95 mask is for protection not comfort
It's a legal notice on use. All industrial NIOSH N95s have something similar, although often not so pronounced on flat-fold models. Would you rather be dead and stylish, or alive and protected?
Amazon comingles inventory. When you order from one seller, you may get masks from another seller just because they are in the closest warehouse to you. That means if a 3rd party seller provides a bunch of counterfeit masks they could be mixed with the real ones.

Do not buy any safety critical things from amazon.

Search for KF94 for kids. They're the Korean standard and are basically the same and held to stringent standards.

Bought these last year when they were the only N95's I could find. They're on the smaller size, but provide an excellent, tight seal for small to average sized adult faces (no small children in the family). Straps held up well, too. Hope this helps!

Happy 2022!

How effective and/or comfortable are these to protect against covid, especially compared to genuine KN95 % KF94 masks?

And can they be safely reused as often as KN95 & KF94 masks?

Also, apart from covid, how effective are these for auto/home DIY use to protect against dust, fumes, smoke, etc., especially compared to those cheap HF dust masks? I mean based on peoples' personal and professional experience and not just what it says on the product page.

And where can one buy N95, KN95 or KF94 masks that are guaranteed to be genuine, new and unexpired for a reasonable cost, no more than $1 a mask?

Fakespot gives it a C rating and claims that there appear to be many fake reviews. Also, that Amazon has pulled quite a few comments.

We need legislation that mandates that companies that sell products either directly or through 3rd party partners verify that those products are legit and safe, especially for ones having to do with health and safety or which could cause harm if not legit. E.g. masks, sanitizing gels, power tools, appliances, etc. I assume that this would require 3rd party testing and verification companies like UL. So be it. Yes, sometimes we do need a nanny state, when our lives depend on it.

If you say that yours are legit, then I believe you. But lots of reviewers are claiming that they got fake or used ones. Either they're lying, or they're mistaken. But if you do get fake or otherwise bad ones, how good has Amazon been about refunding or replacing them, since they're not returnable?
