"During the public health emergency of the COVID-19 pandemic, these standard N95 "industrial" respirators may be used by healthcare professionals according to the U.S. FDA's Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). 3M™ Particulate Respirator 8210 is not cleared by the U.S. FDA as a surgical mask, as a surgical mask and is not considered fluid resistant, therefore a face shield must be worn during use."

Scotch 3M 8210 are the gold standard for N95 masks. Extensive testing has been done on the 8210's and they consistently have 98 - 99% filtration.
My and husband's lives have depended on them for the past 18 months and no COVID for either of us.

I've bought these exact masks from Amazon (sold by Amazon, not just shipped from Amazon). They're legit. But even if the ones you get turn out somehow to be fakes, worst-case you can verify that they're fake and then return to Amazon for free. Super easy.
I hope that helps!
2. 3M cheapened out on the straps in recent months (per reviews). Straps may break easily. May not fit larger heads. Amazon may be dumping junk stock.

I've been buying them for a year now from TASCO, no problems.
