This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I second that. What a jerky thing to say. Did you ask him what it is he wants from you? Does he want to be with you and your family or does he want to be with her? Tell him he can't have it both ways and to make a f***ing decision because he is messing with her head and your heart and it's not fair. Remind him that you have four kids together and either way, you have to be able to respect each other--whatever happens--for the sake of your kids.

That seems like a rather disrepectful attitude he is taking on...especially when you are willing to work through this Frown I wish you the best in all of this mess.Comfort

nod I'd have to agree here. In fact, he seems to be acting like a child at this point. I mean, exposing your children to this person and bringing her to your house?!? As well as still being in constant contact with her. It seems as if he's stooping to her age level and not thinking of the best thing to do for the family he has with you. shake head

He does need a good Smack or Chairbash. Sorry hun...wish you the best. hug

does anyone happen to have the applesauce Q saved. I just found some IPs hiding in my pile - i really need to go thru it all!

And completely OT, but any deals on eyeglasses. My 7yoDS, just broke his and probably needs a new pair, don't think it is repairable. And i am also considering getting him a pair of recspecs.....

TIA.

Zenni Optical has glasses from $8.00 and up. You may not be able to use them now if you need a new pair ASAP but they'd be good to use if yo have a script for a back up pair.

I just have to share a story because, well because this is where we share poop stories Rofl2

DS has come home from daycare every day this week with the "bag" of underwear that he's had accidents. Granted he hasn't been potty trained for long, but he hasn't been having accidents at home (because I take him to the potty every hour or so). I suspect that they aren't taking him frequently enough, but that's a separate topic Mad

Anyway, I set all the "baggies" down by my washing machine to do in one yucky load and today I go down to do that load. I open up the first 2 baggies and, just as I expect, wet underwear - into the washing machine. The next baggie I open, however, there appears to be a brown ball of play doh in his underwear - yes folks, there was a total turd sitting in his underpants that they bagged up! They couldn't have dumped it into the toilet before bagging the underwear up??? So now I'm leary when opening the last baggie - yep - another poopy pair. So I schlep upstairs to rinse them out in the toilet, but they are still really yucky. So I put them in the wash sink and dump the remaining bottle of Zout that I have into the water and let them soak. Meanwhile I've been going in and agitating them every so often with the stick attached to the sprayer thinking from the spray bottle of zout.
Horse Horse Horse

I'm sure something will replace this at the top of my "gross" list, but poop in underwear has officially stolen the top slot from poop in the tub!

Not just poop in underwear, you my friend win the poop prize because you had stow away poop in underwear sealed in a ziploc baggy.

Come on peeps, even my 14 yo would dump the turd before bagging it up. WTF is wrong with people?

He keeps insisting we arent going to work this this and thats final... he just says he has feelings for her... but we are in CT and she is back in Ohio.. obviously he wants something from her because he wont stop calling her. Regardless, he says its too late to work on this or fix it. Thats what p*sses me off the most... its like the kids arent worth it. Looking at the cell phone usage, he would hang up with our son and call her... MANY times! Geesh... what a prick!

I would find a new daycare. First of all, they aren't taking him potty enough. Secondly, they are nasty to put shlt in a ziploc bag. I'm afraid I would have removed the pants and returned the contents to the daycare center....but then, I'm not always a nice person. Dontknow

That is a shame. I witnessed this with my boss and our former office manager. Both were married over 20 years with families. The both left their spouses for each other. It is sad when a man thinks with the little head.

Have faith and ask God to provide you with some comfort and direction. There is always a greater good that comes out of bad. hug
