Yeah, easy driving distance. I'm thinking off site, but am not sure where!! I'm in panic mode now, I think. Embarrassment Any tips on a good place? I've never been to Animal Kingdom, have you? Is it worthwhile? DD is 19 months, so I'm trying to figure out which park would be the most fun for her. I've done all parks except for Animal Kingdom.
Sun, I took Ryan to Disney when he was 19 mo, and he did great, We only went to Magic Kingdom. He loved everything! He went on a ton of rides (mnd you he was 38 inches tall) even the little roller coaster. He was very good and took a nap in the stroller. We only had one day, so we did Magic Kingdom, because I thought he would like it

Happy Birthday mama!

Check out a resort called Floridays. Its a hotel off site that is awesome. We got a 2 bedroom with full kitchen and it worked out great for us. We were able to leave the park, to there to relax and then head back to the park at night.
Pool area is great for kiddos too!

Ooh, nice. I don't think DD is 38 inches tall yet... She wouldn't be able to get on the rides, right? Scratchchin Maybe she is...I'll have to measure her! Teehee Thanks for sharing!!

stupid question - but does T have wheelchairs or those electric scooter things upfront?

I know I used to see them at wal-mart all the time, but for some reason I can't remember seeing them at T.

SO is dying to get out of the house - He wanted to go out today but it was pouring rain, so it would have required him to wrap his leg up in plastic.

Most of the rides aimed at the youngest kids don't have height restrictions in Magic Kingdom behind the castle. Peter Pan's flight, Winnie the Pooh, Small World, Carosel (just butchered the spelling...it's late laugh out loud)Animal Kingdom has a safari ride (actual truck where you sit on a bench) but no height issues. Just remember to take your stroller unless you don't mind those outrageous rental fees.

Wave Hi Everyone!! I just got back. . . the little man and I went to Kansas this weekend so he could meet his great-grandmothers. Me + baby + 4 airplane rides in three days = exhausted mommy. Sadwalk We almost got stuck in DFW on Friday b/c of the bad weather but eventually made it, just four hours late.

Anyway, it was a good trip even though boyo wasn't on his best behavior the entire time. My parents are convinced he has colic and made me give him formula. shake head Glad to be home.

Yes, that stuff is to die for. DH and I pretty much fight over the jar when he have it in the house.

You definitely are getting wiser in your old age - first the realization that men can be a tad clueless at times (INAA and other guys - cover your eyes) and then multi quotes (which, BTW, took me forever to get the hang of). Somehow though, I'm willing to bet that your "old age" isn't quite as old as it sounds. Hopefully you had a nice windshield run with your sister though! hug

The big blue monster never ceases to amaze me - was he really 38" tall at 19 months??? He might give his daddy a run for the money in the height department! Smilie

We are going next week! woot We liked all the parks.. my toddler liked the Magic Kingdom the best, because of all the rides and shows. If your kiddo likes the Playhouse Disney stuff like Handy Manny, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, etc, make sure you catch the Playhouse Disney live show in the Hollywood Studios park. My daughter loved it! (ETA: Happy, happy birthday!)

Speaking of my daughter.. today she fell off the bed face first on to my hardwood floor. She knocked at least one of her front teeth loose - possibly both of them. Frown We are headed to the dentist in the morning. Thank goodness they weren't knocked OUT.. I would have freaked out even more than I already did...

Mama2Cole, brown submarines, huh?

RETSBAR, changed a tire yourself? You go girl! I have no idea how. My hubby likes to keep me as co-dependent as possible. He puts gas in the car too. I learned my lesson about it though. When we lived in Georgia, I ran out of gas once when he was gone. Embarrassment

Megnsamsgrace , possibly he is using prepaid phone so that you cannot track the calls. EVIDENCE.

MNWT, hope all is well with his recovery.

Target Easter clearance was amazing yesterday! There were three full aisles of stuffs at 90% off. Licklips I thought we might not have any after reading the posts here. I tried to take a pic but my new cell phone is much smarter than I am. Mad

Sharon52680 , sending loads of good luck wishes for your hubby's job interview.

Quote from Ms.T. :
here's a little story of what 'worked' for me. when my ex left me for a MUCH younger woman, they were sooooo much in love. Meanwhile, I was home raising our children. A good friend of mine told me, Teri, you are making this too easy on them. Dinner here and there with the kids, a Saturday afternoon here and there...so I started sending them over full weekends, holidays, and ALL summer. Soon, pretty young thing flew the coop, she couldn't take being a mommy shake head
Ms.T, sounds like you friend gave you some sound advice on inserting reality into your ex'es relationship.

Quote from dpags :
Wave all!

Been away on vacation so not reading much - Meg.... if you really want him back, you have to just "let him go". No, I mean it. Tell him that he's right, you two are not meant for one another and you don't love him anymore either. Then just tell him that you need to save enough money for [pick something, anything] and then you can both go your separate ways. Don't cry for him, don't get angry and let him believe he's 'getting to you', just let him go on believing that you are just saving for [whatever] and then it will be over... the whole idea of you not wanting him anymore will drive him crazy - it won't happen overnight but it will happen. It's a stupid childish game, I know. Good luck - I'm sorry that you are going through this. It sucks but you can't let this break you - I wish you the best!
That is truly amazing advice, too. I have seen it happen time and time again with friends and such.

Quote from megnsamsgrace :
First, I want to thank all of you for your support. We are on day #9 and I am starting to feel so much better. Still need a Rx to help me sleep at night but soon I wont need it anymore. I still love him and wish this marriage would work.. BUT I know I deserve better. So I am going to take care of me and my kids and do just fine. I have talked to MIL and she is willing to come over here and watch the kids when I go back to work so they dont have to be over there... I am still very concerned with DH's actions. He is doing nothing but going to work, coming home and going up into his moms house into the room and hanging out there. He is not eating and jogging constantly. He hasnt talked to some mutual friends... they said they keep trying to talk to him but he wont answer. So I dont think he is running on a full 6pack. And finding out this 20yr old is nuts, makes me more concerned with his decision making skills. So for now, its me and the kids and my MIL is still on my side. But I will continue to take it one day at a time! I am not crying all day anymore!

Oh yeah, I will go get lots of papers tonight I hope, if the electrosol Q is in our papers I can share! I will give out like 5 to everyone. Only regular posters.. no trade, I just dont have a dishwasher! And DS, if you want, I have a bunch of those buckets from Christmastime if you want them!!
Glad you are gaining some clarity on the situation. hug

Quote from Thrifty-n-SoCal :
Yeah sometimes it is best to just let those q's go. They are 3 years expired for crying out loud. Roll
Sadwalk It's hard.

Can I try and top you? My ex sent his ex-gf to buy my Christmas presents one year because he was too busy. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
