When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! My only suggestion, some place that has no curbs (or anything else closeby) that can be hit. I learned to drive on the lot (over 1/2 acre) next to our house on a stick shift. Only after we mastered 'the lot', did we get 'permission' to move further. (in busy cities, maybe a vacant church parking lot (assuming he can avoid hitting the light poles) on OFF church days might be a good place to start). And later in training, Mama found a mostly deserted country road with a steep hill that we got to practice stopping and starting with a stick shift on the hill. We did that damn hill every day for over 3 weeks until I got really good at it.

Also, I have a co-worker that is quite the record keeper. He made all of his children have a selected number of hours of dry, day driving. A different number for dry, night driving, a new number for wet, day driving and finally another number of wet, night driving. His middle child was desparate, as it never seemed to rain at night, so her driving lessons took longer than the other two, as he wouldn't bend on his rules.
That's the thing.. we have done the parking lot thing a few times already. Then, I took him on a straight deserted road once to drive for a few miles. This time I thought he would be okay to get on the real road.. guess he got nervous. I think it is daddy's turn to take him driving nowBig Grin

Or a subscription to Hustler and some stockpiled Aveeno....

Yeah, yeah, I know...just sayin'....

Rylen and everyone doing fine. Daddy's a little worn out as he's spent several days over the last ten doing a Civil War era archaelogical excavation in a farm pasture in 90-95 degree heat...but hey, it's all in the name of edumacation.

How's things around Agent B's place?

As soon as I cool off, I'll be looking for a nice warm fire to sit by....

Do the practice driving in the cemetery. Can't kill anyone there.... Wink

Seriously, the winding roads there are good for turns and maneuvers.

All is well here. I'm sick as a dog though, which sux. I got it from the kids, who were sick last week. I think I got the brunt of it, but that's ok, I'd rather be super sick then have them super sick.

I know I've mentioned it before, but I had to take a pic yesterday... my closest store is still putting out Peter Pan peanut butter with the (expired) HW peelies on them. Check this out - every single jar that is out there on the shelf has a peelie on it (even the ones that you can't see in the back). Crazy I checked the exp dates and they are good through 9/09... cutting it close.

Anyway, thought you guys would get a kick out of this. Wink

My 42yo DH needs to work on his aim as well. I feel like putting an instruction sheet on the bathroom door:

Step 1: Make sure dirt is off feet from being outside
Step 2: Make sure glasses are on, cant see without them
Step 3: Lift toilet lid
Step 4: pee
Step 5: Clean up residual pee from around toilet
Step 6: throw piece of toilet paper with residual pee in toilet, not on floor
Step 7: flush
Step 8: wash hands
Step 9: leave room, close door so baby doesn't go in without us and flush
Oh my! lmao

Quote from Sharon52680 :
Did you here about that 4 yr old who flushed his brand new pupppy down the toilet (the kid said the puppy was dirty and he was giving it a bath in the loo)? They called an emergancy plumber and used a video camera to see where the puppy was and pushed him out safely. They video was nuts!
Oh my God! That poor puppy... wouldn't it have drowned?

You forget the most important one:

Step 6a: put the toliet seat AND lid down

Cool
that should also be in like 36pt lettering, underlined etc. etc. Urghh I hate when he forgets to put the seat down... I went to take my sleeping DD to go potty before I put her to bed and didn't realize the seat wasn't down and (mind you she's still half asleep by time we get to the bathroom) she proceeds to pull down her pants etc. and went to sit down and fell in! Poor kid... she woke up and starting crying... had to give her a bath & everything.... now I always check.

I will not be teaching any of my children how to drive. I can't stand driving myself, let alone have the nerve to even teach someone else how to drive! Kudos to all you who undertake that task! I do like the experience requirements, though I have a hard time imagining any of my kids driving at 16 - even with that much experience! Just seems like we hear about too many kids in accidents here. Frown

On another note, I saw a seller with q's for 3.00 off chicken wyb 5 kraft items - dressing, stove top, Kraft mac, velveeta mac.... any idea where they are from? I had been trying to get some of the 2.00 off of meat wyb 2 kraft items, but it's been a challenge to get bid that sticks.

My daughter refused to sit. She had a boy cousin she obviously saw going to the bathroom (6 months older), so she'd stand straddling the toilet. She told me, "You can call me a girl all you want, but I'm really a boy." I'm thankful she grew up and now her favorite color is pink (she's a girly girl, phew).
that's too funny! lmao

Just wanted to come and say what a great mail day I had today.... got some bricks qs.. some bean qs that were raoked from some nice SDers.. and everything I ordered off ebay came. I am sitting here with a pile of coupons, and many expire 6/30.. I need to go shopping bad but am so sad because I have to go to work soon and won't get off til target is closedFrown
I wondering now what I can get on the way to work that won't be destroyed if left in the car. I guess all these candy coupons are gonna have to wait. Nothing like melted twizzlers and snickers in the summertime heatBig Grin

By the way, in one of my ebay envys, the seller gave me extra qs.. about 15 extra random blinkies and tearpads. Made my daywoot
