When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Thanks. hug What's weird was these people used to NEVER be around. We thought the house was a weekly rental that they hadn't converted yet. Then in May, they started being here pretty regularly. And I can't make any rhyme or reason to a work schedule for them.Annoyed My hubby has met her. Her name is Daisy. I am sure with a name like that she has to be super nice.

yeah, my hubby just told me I wouldn't make 500.00Mad I feel like I have a ton of stuff, but he may be right.. guess it depends on what I sell it for. Either way, some of this stuff has gotta go. It is just hard to think that shampoo, deo, tooothpaste, glade, etc, will add up to that much.. but we will seeCool
Don't listen to him! Men don't know the values of our stockpiles.

$500 is an achievable goal... In the end, the money that you get from the sale will do the convincing for you.

Then, you're going to be on the cycle of "stockpile, make $$$ at GS and going back to replenish my stockpile."

Scratchchin You've got a point. That could explain the sign.

So I just took the dog outside (Secret ). I walked over to the part of the tree where the mangos are that I have been Lusting after. Too high. laugh out loud They need a little more weight on 'em to bring the branch down to my level. So I walked over to the furthest point where they are hanging lower. AND just as I said! I farkin' tripped over a mango on the ground and fell in the yard. Roll So much for my extracurricular nighttime activities.

Hey Trang. hug How are ya, girly? Girly You are so right about that. Our first sale, my husband acted like it was a big old pain in his patootie to help. When he saw the cashola we brought in, it was no problem getting him to help with the second one.

WELCOME BACK Ariel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good to see you & glad you had a blast! Kauai is my parents favorite place in the world - I think they have been there twice and they found a tiny little place they could rent out of the way of tourists & with a little kitchen - - - they want to go back again --- they said it was heavenly! Did you go hiking up the volcano? Or find the ONE palm tree which allowed for a cell signal? LOL
Quote from tootsie67 :
welcome back!! I was wondering where you were. I LOVED Kauai too. We kayaked down the river and drank a lot of drinks out of coconut shells. ahhhh, life before kids Wink
Thanks guys!!! hug

Kauai was simply amazing!!! Below are some of the pics from our trip (I warn you now though, "some" is still over 350 pics laugh out loud)!

PM me for pics Smilie

We did not hike too much (I still don't get to hike anywhere really due to my work injury last year) but did do a bunch of fun stuff! Lots of drinking was done at the Luau (open bar Whee) and we were blesses with great cell service! I was especially thankful for the last part since I missed the girls so much I called them many times a day laugh out loud Also, we had no internet at our hotel, so I used the phone for my fast net stuff! It was a life saver!

Sorry to be completely clueless, but what is SW? I keep wanting to read it as Super Walmart, but I've never seen a 5/50.00 at a super walmart.

Have you tried using baking soda?

I didn't think we would make much either, but we did our first flea market yesterday. We got there at 6:30ish to set up and left at 10:15 because it was just too hot for having the baby with us. Anyway, in that short time we made $462 and still came home with a trunk full!

I just don't want to dorkify myself by going over there and asking when there is clearly a sign there.
Well... you could send hubby over since he's already met her. Or, you could go over and maybe mention that you found some recipes you'd love to try out with mangos and you'd be willing to share some of the goodies made from them.

Holy Successful Garage Sale Batman!!!!! That ROCKS!! I haven't done one yet - I am going to try the weekend of the 11th/12th ... don't have a HUGE amount of stuff but I do have a small stockpile and I thought I would give it a try. I am going to put up signs on the main roads/junctions to try and attract traffic as we really don't get any ... so keep your fingers crossed for me! I will be thinking about how you did to keep me motivated LOL!
Seriously, and that wasn't even with very much stuff! The first time we had a garage sale we made $2200 in a day and a half. We usually average at least $700. And it's all stuff from CVS, Wags, Kmart and Target Smilie

I always take about $100 to "roll" into new stockpiles Smilie

OMG, my DH gave me such sh*t about all the stuff in the house, taking up all the room in the car and ALWAYS running to the store until that first faithful day when we pulled in $1200 in 6 hours Big Grin He shut his trap reeeeeeeeaaallll quick after that. Well, he still complains about the mess (there's just no where to put it all in a condo!!), but he's always more than happy to watch the baby while I go to "work". LMAO

Ariel ~ Welcome back!! wonderful pics!! Thank you for sharing them - You look like you both really enjoyed yourselves! I especially love the flower close-ups and I'm not much of a lizard fan but the full-body shot was amazingly vibrant and just crystal clear - and the sunset shots, wow! Breathtaking. I see some really great "blown up and framed" shots in there!

mmm, you could claim her mangoes caused you injury and pain when they fell into your yard and you tripped over them. However being the nice neighbor you are, you'll settle out of court and she can pay in mangoes Whistling
