Oh, I only run when I'm being chased. I did start taking a daily 30-minute stroller walk with my son two weeks ago. It's better then the gym because I get to spend time with the little man Smilie

Well, I personally don't keep can goods in the garage, but my dad is old school and believes kids should eat dirt to build up their immune system always tells me this when I mention something being left out like that...."Warehouses where these foods sit are not air-conditioned. If a food is not in refridgeration at a store, than it has never been in refridgeration."
Quote from Sharon526 :
Well, you have to wonder if they keep food in tempertature controlled storage units until they get placed on the shelves at the store. I guess it depends on how long?

Now tell me, there is nothing wrong with eating a bag of Birdeye Steamfresh white rice for dinner, right? laugh out loud
Yeah, the garage thing is creepin me out, gonna have to find another place for them. Basement would prolly be ideal....but I don't have one. Mad

Another garage question - Can you put a freezer in the garage? Or will it be too hot and make the freezer work overtime?

Tag Question - I have quite a few of the tag books but no system yet...I saw tag Junior in the stores..Is it worthwhile to get the Tag junior too???..My kids turn 3 in August...
No, as a pp wrote I would just use the regular one. My youngest isn't quite 2 and he uses his big brother's Tag.

Had a freezer in my garage for YEARS. We no longer have an attached garage, but most people I know have one in their's. I'm in FL, so we're on the edge of on fire all the time and no one I know has had any issues.

We'll be adding a smaller standup type for our detached garage for ice, Bubba Burgers Whistling, etc. We already have a 'beer fridge' out there and have no issues Beer

I have a fridge and an upright freezer in my garage. They do fine, but I'm sure they have to work harder out there. I try to keep the door down so it doesn't get AS hot, but everybody in my family knows my garage code and comes in that way, leaving the door up behind them. Still a better value to stock up on good deals than have to pay full price for them later IMO.

We have an extra fridge in the garage, and have for several years of Virginia summers. It works fine and I've rarely had to adjust the temp settings from summer to winter. My dad recommended putting a pallet underneath to allow better circulation around electrical components (which we've never gotten around to).

If you get a newer freezer with a good energy efficiency rating, you may not see too big of an increase. Besides, your savings will probably more than pay for whatever increase you see Wink

My dd loves avocados so much, she eats them plain all the time. I just chop it and she'll eat it as is. She's a funny kid though. Her fav. foods are avocados, soybeans, melons, etc. she doesn't like processed foods or a lot of junk foods. She is the 180 of my son who is the human garbage disposal of junk food laugh out loud

Oh man, my son is pretty good. He loves ice cream and yogurt, but mainly eats healthy food. Not me. As a kid I used to eat my wieght in candy. In college I would eat two king packs of Reeses a day vomit and not gain any weight. Not.so.much.anymore LMAO

I don't care what she calls them, as long as she is eating healthy!

Hey CC'ers. I hope everyone is having a good day. Smilie

DH is currently in surgery and I am waiting for the doc to come give me an update.

Funny thing.....after the nurse took his vitals this morning and gave him his gown she said "Good luck!" EEK! Think she knows something about the surgeon that we don't? Scratchchin
