This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

You asked for it laugh out loud Southerner's can take ANY healthy food and make it unhealthy in a snap...Here's the rice and a Tomato Pie recipe (so so good)
I make a version of that dish. It is yummy! yummy

But this northerner has a twist to make it even *more* unhealthy. Evillaugh It adds an extra couple of steps... and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it if you're trying to stay cool, since it involves turning the oven on. laugh out loud (I was going to cook something -- can't remember what -- for dinner the other day, then realized that would require turning the oven on. I immediately put the food back in the freezer and thought, "We'll have peanut butter and jelly for dinner before I do that." Nono2)

Anyways, while the rice mixture is cooking, prepare a box of Jiffy corn bread mix, or the small cheesy garlic Bisquick pouches cheap AC at T, or any kind of biscuit dough.

When the rice is done (or even just a bit early), transfer into a casserole dish and smooth out the top. Pour the biscuit mix over the top of the rice. Pop into the oven and bake til the toothpick is clean (or a little less than the box directions Wink).

You might want to make the rice mix with a little more liquid if planning on topping, though. The oven will dry it out a bit, so a little extra can help keep it moist.

Just thought I'd share. hug Though you prolly already know of all this anyway. laugh out loud

Ok, I have a random question for you guys. What is your average BC and AC totals at T? I don't care about GCs added in or filler items, just the final amount that shows up on the screen. I've been a total chicken $hit about using some of my really good Qs because I'm afraid of my total going too low. But, I think I'm ready to get over that. I just want to make sure that I fly under the radar.
I think I tend to be around 120ish BC and 25-30ish AC. I don't seem to do as well on the GC as ya'll do. Not sure how to effectively get that up there without spending the big $$ oop. I guess I'm scared to bring too much attention to myself - plus my stores tend to be a bit nosey/observant of the q's.

Quote from Sharon526 :
I try to keep my totals above $150, but that's usually padded with gift cards and other stuff.

Totally off topic.... Check out the link my DH emailed me Stick Out Tongue Is Oral Sex Good for Your Fetus? [momlogic.com] He's a funny, funny guy! LMAO
Do you use GC to pay? I can't imagine dropping that much cash in one transaction! How do ya'll do it? Am I just not bold enough?

Great link. I am forwarding it to DH with warnings to not open at work or with kids around... lol. He's gonna wonder 'bout me!

Hmm... no more... but I did see that Spam Q! Did you know that Spam is made by Hormel? Wink5
No more q's ... no more q's ... I'm having a hard time on self control on the bay!

Do regular Targets with expanded grocery sections sell Hormel?

Like I reported last night, I went to check the price of the Resolve and they only had two sizes, one was $13.xx and the other was $16.xx. Of course this was after I bought 50 of the B2G1 MQs.... I will have to check other stores. Anyone find anything cheaper at their stores?

That recipe sounds yummy Do you have it spelled out for someone as challenged as I am in the kitchen? Please

I will try attaching a pic of the ziploc totes, I think they are great! But I do think they are over priced...they could have at least made them 2 packs. Greedy
I think they are overpriced, as well. Secret only if you pay for them Secret
I love them for storing my kids clothes under their beds. (i buy things when on clearance in the next size up) cause you can smoosh them to fit and form to the space you have under there.
