This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Okay, has anyone's cashiers or umm floor people (what do you call them again?) ever made a comment about how cheap they were? Does the price show on the gun?

So lame-o question here... what do they mean by hard lines and soft lines at target? I've heard reds use the terms before and was just curious. This afternoon, the guy that got the sippys for me said "oh, those are soft lines" after he looked them up...
I know this!

Softlines-clothing, baby, etc like that
hardlines- everything else!

I worked there forever ago, but I cannot remember what they call the floor people?!?! I know LOD and TLOD but what do they call the people on the floor?

I don't recall seeing this, sorry if it was, but thought it was worth mentioning.. Found the b3g1 chef boyardee blinkies again.. The were out a few months back and I missed them, but they are back. I have been picking up a few here and there while doing publix runs. They don't expire until 8/31.woot

Also, I found womens quattro razors tonight with the 2 small bottles of body wash included. They were the same price and prompted for the GC.

Didn't find any sippy cups tonight, but did get a few more crayola and disney peelies.Big Grin

Go to CS with the UPC and DCPI written down. Tell them "This is on sale, but I didn't see any on the shelves..." They offer to look it up for you, tell you there's none in stock. "Oh... darn. They are on sale right now. Could I get a raincheck?" To which they say, "Sure, how many??" Easy peasy!

and... they print with the "choose a substitute option" and a list of surrounding stores that show stock available - just in case you were wondering...
SHUT. UP. - Now I have to get dressed and drag DS back to T. This will bring my greedy hoarding to a whole new level!!! Big Grin

I'm thinking it's been too many years since my little ones used sippy cups. Is each cup 1.68? What was the original price, and how much would you price one for at a yard sale to make a decent profit?

Oh yes, you are helping. Like giving a junkie crack. Or better yet, telling them how to get an ongoing supply of crack for really, really cheap. laugh out loud

I'm an enabler... Believe it or not, I decided to stay home today - well, at least until hubby gets home. I'll take my chances later (I think)

I think regular price on these is 6.99ish. Sippies are expensive! They are in a double pack for 1.68 - so you get 2 for a very cheap price.

I don't know what you'd price them at for a garage sale, but I would consider buying a 2pack at 5.00 if I were needing/wanting a sippy.
