This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

G'morning MastiffMom!
Welcome to today's version of target chit chat, also known as home of the sippy hoarder club.

:-D

Totally OT - does anyone know about eBay auctions. I purchased some coupons only to find out later that they are email coupons. I've read the listing several times and there is no indication that they are email coupons in the listing. I am a bit annoyed since we don't have a printer to print them. Should I just let it go? I could probably print them at a library, so it's not a total loss - but it does increase my out of pocket cost because the library charges .15 per page. *sigh*

Morning Ank! Teehee on the sippy hoarder club.

I'm not familiar w/fleabay auctions, but it sounds like some false advertising! I'd be pissed, if I were you! Good luck getting that resolved!

Teri~ went all the way to your Target and was told I couldnt have the cups. They are due to come out onto the sales floor on the 26th and need to be priced. She said "well 1.87 is what we pay for them, we have to price them accordingly to make money. We have a system and someone must have put them out (at the other stores) before they went through the pricing." She wasn't budging Mad I guess what she said sort of made sense so I didn't make a scene.

lots of small children=needs lots of sippy cups nod

I will do almost anything for a hoarder pass . Anybody got an extra?? I know...longshot

It's against Ebay policy for sellers to ONLY email a coupon. They have to send a printed copy too. Tell the seller you will report him/her unless they either send you a printed copy or refund your money. If they don't respond then report the item to Ebay.

If anyone finds those Crayola peelies and has a few extra to share, I could definately use them! DH is a teacher in a school that has zero funding and I'd like to get DS some of those Crayola beginers things. Thanks in advance! :hugs:

I think regular price on these is 6.99ish. Sippies are expensive! They are in a double pack for 1.68 - so you get 2 for a very cheap price.

I don't know what you'd price them at for a garage sale, but I would consider buying a 2pack at 5.00 if I were needing/wanting a sippy.
Thanks! that is a great price for two. Looks like 4BB went to my T and they wouldn't let her have them, so I'm not going to bother. 4BB since you got some at your T, why not go back there and try to get a hoarder pass?

My sister just emailed me my nephew's supply list for Kindergarten and I was able to pull everything from my stash except for a backpack. She's going to be so excited when I drop it all off this afternoon. Yeah for SDs!!!

Teri, maybe you can try later when someone else is on the clock. They would probably sell well at your yard sales or make nice gifts. I didn't make a big fuss because I didn't want to raise any red flags at your home store. Don't I need more than one hoarder pass?

Same here! I even have backpacks from last year's clearance. Oddly enough, our store had Reebox backpacks for under $2-kind of like the sippy price mistake. I bought five and plan to fill and donate them to ds's school. They are pretty low income there and need all the help they can get. nod

That's awesome about the backpacks. My sister is a single mom and it's so nice to be able to help her out without really "spending" any extra money from our budget.

You can try to work it out with the seller first, and if that doesn't work out, you can go through paypal and file a claim "Item not as described." That stinks!

Well... Big Grin

Go to CS with the UPC and DCPI written down. Tell them "This is on sale, but I didn't see any on the shelves..." They offer to look it up for you, tell you there's none in stock. "Oh... darn. They are on sale right now. Could I get a raincheck?" To which they say, "Sure, how many??" Easy peasy!

and... they print with the "choose a substitute option" and a list of surrounding stores that show stock available - just in case you were wondering...
Great, as if I needed another reason to get to T AGAIN!Big Grin

But with the whole 'substitution' option...it wont really work for any other sippy cause it is still only a 40% 'sale' price. reg 1.87ish sale 1.67ish ya know.

SHUT. UP. - Now I have to get dressed and drag DS back to T. This will bring my greedy hoarding to a whole new level!!! Big Grin
I know right, but I have 4 very unwilling kids to drag with me...Gma decided to go on a last minute vaca so no sitter available. Sadwalk
