Side note: I did notice they are already being sold on fleebay. I hope who ever requests them is actually intending on using them and not selling them, but to each their own. I can't control what you do with them. Sorry this was intended to be lighthearted and good natured but I've been really disappointed in the world lately with the lack of integrity and personal accountability with many the people I've been dealing with lately. I am in my mid-20s and am just realizing how "bad" people can be :S. I guess my disappointed nature is hurting my free spirit right now.
And if the person who took my box is reading this, thanks the F a lot. Karma will get you. You know that the box belonged to someone who wanted it back, as there was a shopping list, personal mail, tape, scissors, a stapler and more in it. You couldn't just take the coupons you wanted and turn in the box to customer service, you had to steal all of it a true thief you are. You know the economy is bad, when some dirt bag steals your coupon box. Thank God I didn't have my rr's from Walgreen's in it or my Kmart and grocery store cats, as I'm sure you would have stolen them to. So next time you leave something behind and it turns up missing tough sh*t, you deserve it.
DS had his one year diabetes anniversary today. For those of you around for a while, agree with me that it does not seem like a year has gone by. We had wanted to do something nice for him, beach day or one of his favorite museums but he's very sick with an infection from his pump site (since Monday) and we need to keep him chilled out. So after breakfast he throws his cup (munchkin straw cup) and the lid cracks. Are you kidding me--second one in a month! So now down to 3 and he loses them all the time. Decide to do a very quick run and try to find the cheap ones. They had the cups you all are referencing but they were full price. So we bought one anyway!!! LOL everyone--I'm the only one this week who paid full price for sippy cups!

I also hate the people who get behind you and breathe down your neck. The other night I wanted to tell this guy off.. He was all up on the debit card scanner thing when I needed to use it. He acted like he didn't want to move. some people are so rude!

I agree.. I hope everyone has a much better week this week.. Healthy, great week filled with lots of good target runs!
We threw our stuff in the car and I grabbed the cart and headed for the cart return running across the parking lot. I got to the return, looked over at DH who was already in the car starting to move from the spot. Trying to hurry and having a million things on my mind, I just pushed the darn cart into the return as fast as I could and started running back to the car. Halfway back I happened to look back (probably my brain saying your coupon box, your coupon box, but I didn't get it), and noticed the couple in the car by the cart return looking intently at the cart return. The whole scene just stuck me as odd in my mind at the time, but I was in a hurry, not feeling well and just didn't get it. It all made sense later, what they were looking at that is. We went to see Star Trek and as soon as we got out of the movie, reality stuck and I suddenly was like oh my god my coupon box. Of course we went back and the store was closed and my coupon box was gone. I went back first thing in the morning and no one had seen the box or turned it in. It was gone before the cart boy collected carts twenty minutes later when the store was closing I was told later.
There wasn't many customers left, so I'm sure I saw the people who took it. I still feel ill over it. I just wish the people who were there could have at least left my box in the cart, even if they didn't want to take it in to customer service or something. If it were me I would have never messed with it, as it was not my property, so I just don't get it. I am having a hard time dealing with someone doing that when they even saw the person who left it behind and who they were stealing from. Nice, real nice people! Looking back now I'm pretty sure those people by the cart return got my box and it made their night, hell their whole year. As it was double coupons that week and customers in the store behind me, were amazed at my shopping total. Because everyone in line has to be all looking at your order in your business when you are using sooooo many coupons, it is taking forever and they are shocked by how low your total gets. You always hear I have to start doing what you do, I need to shop with you and so forth. So it was most likely someone who saw me saving and thought they would steal my box and do the same or get some quick cash on ebay. Well I have news for them it is not just having the coupons that make you a great shopper it takes a lot of skill, time and planning as we all know. It makes me sick as I think of each coupons expiration date as they pass and I say rip I hope you got used by a good person to the fullest. I am so angry that my at least 30 free bags of 16 oz kitten chow coupons won't be enjoyed by my cats or the millions of people I know with cats. I'm angry that the probably 40 renuzit bogo glass crystal elements coupons won't be put to good use to be sold at my sale to benefit my family. I am thinking of those two right now, as they expire the 31st among many others and I want them back. What if the fool who stole these is letting them expire right now? The thought makes me physically ill.
Anyway I finally had to tell my story to someone who would understand besides the immediate family, because anyone else I tell is like oh your coupons got stolen what a shame. They don't by far understand the value of what I lost. It is worse than someone coming in my house and stealing my television value wise, because I could have replaced my television three times over with the value lost in my coupon box, and we have a 46" HDTV, so you see what I mean. I know I won't trust people anymore like I used to, no more being easy going, as you always have to be on your toes or someone will kick you when you are down. And I guarantee I will never be that dumb again, so that some stupid asshat can get anything from me! Plus I pray daily that they get theirs! I gave someone a chance to turn it into the store by checking with the store for about a week hoping someone would take pity, but I knew that night it was gone forever! My husband thought for sure it would be in the store the next day, but I told him I know those people by the cart return stole it. I told him that night, why oh why couldn't I have been wrong? Thanks for the listen, maybe I can move on!

I'm so sorry to hear that. I think we've all lost or misplaced our coupon binder/box at least once, and know that feeling of OMG. I left mine in Target once, went back the next day and it was their, thank god, but I do remember how I felt, just like you.. sick to my stomach. Just thinking about all those coupons. Funny how important they are to us. They shouldn't be, but when you use them to supplement your income it is a huge loss.
All you can do is trade/buy more coupons and start again. I've had to do that just this last month, but for a different reason then you.
Here's hoping that some of us SD'ers can RAOK you some coupons to start you off again.
