One more thing.

I ordered over 200 coupons on ebay the other day. From one seller, a huge assortment of q's for all kinds of things.

I got the items and was completely disgusted with how they were packed. First the seller did not combine shipping, but I needed these q's so not a huge deal, but if I am paying $8 in shipping and it costs you under $4, then I really think that you could take better care in shipping!

Anyhow, the coupons were a complete jumbled mess, not organized one bit, shipped in a huge envelope. I mean, how hard is it to staple the like or paper clip them? This was not a $3 purchase, it was higher lol.

So my question is, should I leave neutral feed back? It litterally took me 20 minutes to sort them and get them all straightened out. I have never had this happen before, anytime i order multiples they are always nicely organized, clean cut and you can tell time is put into the process
alot of peeps on ebay will retaliate with your feedback if you leave them anything less than positive.. I am not saying you shouldn't, just be warned..It has happened to a couple of people I know. If I receive the items that I ordered, then I always leave positive feedback.. regardless of whether the shipping was slow, or not packaged as I would like.. But that is just me.

Ok all you guys and your tattoo talk!! I bit - I went and got it done tonight!!
Whee Congrats! Must see pics! When I got my first, the tattoo artist said "Tattoos are like potato chips & good sex, you can't stop at one!" Teehee

Ouch! That looks like it had to of hurt!

It's not that exciting, which was why I didn't mention it before. It's a rose on my left ankle. Rose was my childhood nickname. The good news is, 17 years later I still like it. Smilie

It really didn't hurt that much except the part that passes over the ankle bone. That hurt like a m@therf#$ker.
I've always enjoyed hearing the stories behind a tattoo. A rose on your ankle to go w/your childhood nickname is a neat story.

I have 4, my first is the only one I regret & the one that hurt the most. It's on my back shoulder blade, so I never see it though. Smilie The next one I got was across my back. A big butterfly that I drew up & the tattoo artist put his spin on it. My cousin & I both got divorced at the same time, so we both went to get inked togehter. I always said that I got my wings when I got divorced. Smilie Then next one, funny enough, was w/my cousin again. We went to Margi Gras & both got tats on our ankle. Somewhat of a tribal & mine has a rose in the middle & her's has a butterfly. The last one is on my back also & my brother has the same one, just words "Trust No One". There's a story to that one, but I'll save it for another time.

I would send them a message and say that you weren't happy w/the shipping for the price you paid. Maybe they'll refund some of your $$?
Okay, I will send you a pm in just a second.

I am okay with the shipping. It was monopolized. Only seller with these coupons and I needed them, so what can you do? I will be saving enough though so it washes out. I am just not happy with how the were packaged in the shipping. I used to sell my time in the form of q's, both whole and cut, I was always very meitculous about how things were done

Quote from crazy4vs :
I would leave positive feedback. You received the order. Messy or not it arrived. Most sellers do ship them neatly.

You could put a comment in the feedback about them being messy. nod
Okay, that sounds good. It's definitely not worthy of negative, I mean I did get them all and such, just was messy. I don't normally order off of e-bay, because I refuse to support them, but I was monopolized, LOL

Thanks ladies!

And I have a q too, since we're playing that game...Teehee Am I just really small time with q's, or what? I get about 20 (free) papers a week, so I have those inserts, but I see you guys talking about ordering 200+ coupons and I'm wondering if I'm just really out of the loop as far as needed q's? Or do you all keep that many "on hand"?

As far as tats go, I have a celtic heart on my chest with my kids' names around it (think heart area, not other area!!!) I have a rose on my hip from when I was 16 and said I was 18... an "End of the Trail" native american tat on my left shoulder, and a chinese symbol for "fierce" along with a shamrock on my right ankle. Big Grin Love 'em all and can't wait to get my next!

I really don't want (and am not) leaving negative. It did not deserve negative, shipping was fast, everything else was great. With 290 coupons and about 80 different coupons, it was a disaster. I just was unsure if I should do a neutral or a positive with a comment. I am opting for the positive with the comment.

Good point and I thank you!

Okay, I do not get hardly any q's in my inserts, I mean hardly any! So I order every week, usually Sunday am's and I generally order at least 20 of each, more if I can use them, less if I won't use any. So I generally order average of 200-300 qs per week. But they are not 200 or 300 of the same coupon, they are 10 of this , 20 of that , 3million of that (just checking to see if you are reading, LOL).

I consider myself small time. I have really cut back lately, a) broken arm and I did not want to try to push a cart and shop. (Today was actually the biggest shopping trip I have done recently) and b) my dd is out for the summer. We have been at the pool, friends and camp activities in the am. She is tired by the time we are done so I don't bother making her go on runs with me. It's not fair to her to spend all her time at the store with me. I am essentially a "single" parent as my DF is 900 miles away on the job site for 12 months. Sucky!

I'm not sure if anyone has seen the ad for next week (sorry, I'm behind in the deals thread) but the rumor has it that they are advertising price-matching in it?! Here are the "rules" I stole from that certain other thread with lots of red people wandering around in it...

-Guests can only price match for IDENTICAL items (size, model #, color, etc.)
-Guest must have a current, FULL in-store competitor ad in-hand (no single pages, no online print-outs, etc.)
-Target will not price match for % off sales (i.e. If a tv is listed as $799 at Wal-Mart, we can price match to $799. But if Wal-Mart lists the tv as 20% off, we cannot take 20% off the Target price).
-Target will not price match 'membership' stores (i.e. Sam's Club)
-All price matching must be handled at Guest Service. If a guest goes through line and wants to do a price match, the cashier must ring up the item at Target's price and then direct the guest to Guest Service upon completion.
-Guests can price match up to 7 days after a purchase.

Apparently they weren't going to roll it out until August, but it got put in next weeks ad by mistake, so it officially starts on 7/12. HTH someone, and I hope it's true! laugh out loud
Since you mention competitor's price match, will T also accept competitor's Qs? Several posters have mentioned needing diapers and the Publix ad for the coming week (starts here Wed and in FLA on Thurs) has a $2 off Huggies Q in the Ad (for selected types and box counts).

I would do like others have suggested and contact the seller first. Tell them you aren't leaving negative feedback because they did hold up their end of the deal, but point out that you were disappointed that they didn't offer combined shipping and felt that a $4.00 overcharge seemed a bit exhorbitant and will mean that you won't likely purchase from that seller again. Also, maybe you could "suggest" that the coupons be better organized in future mailings because that also affects your decision on future purchases.

You may want to keep a list of sellers that you don't like and why. I have a list of ones that I avoid, ones that I will purchase from in a total pinch (i.e. the high shipping ones), and those that I love and am willing to support.

That is a good idea, I guess I will send an email to them in the a.m and let them know about my "complaint".

Okay, someone mentioned crayola drinks? Weren't they looking for the tearpad? PM me please Smilie

Ok, Tattoos and piercing talks drew me outta lurker mode (I have been reading just not commenting Hide). I am a huge fan of tats and piercings!! My uncle was a tattoo artist (he passed on) and my cousin still is. They are in MT and are the only ones I will get tattoos from now. I have 6 professional tats (and 3 not so professional ones, was bored in 9th grade history class Evil) and have had 13 piercings in my life. I currently only have 6 piercings (I had to get rid of my eyebrow ring for the brain surgery this year, but I figure it was worth it Wink) and 5 of them are in my ears. The other one, well most of you know already Teehee

My tats:
1st one is a small butterfly (size of a quarter) on my R hip that I got when I was 18. My uncle was a tat artist and they all made me wait until I was of age, so that I could "be sure" Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) My uncle told me it was too small (and a waste of time since it was soo small) and he was right, it is way to tiny for my big ole (I mean lovely womenly) hips. Butterfly symbolized being "free" and all that jazz.

2nd one is a beautiful fairy that looks like my oldest dd and has her name written under it. It is on my L shoulder blade and I got it when I was right after I turned 19. My cousin did this one. The features on the fairy were made to resemble Alexa and the fairy's dress is purple, which was Alexa's fav color at the time. This is STILL my favorite one and still looks great!

3rd is a Nurse Hello Kitty on my L outer upper arm (think classic place for male tattoos). I got this one on spring break the year as I was graduating from nursing school and I was 20. I went with 3 friends and we all got tats and piercings (This is when I got my special piercing too, oh the crazy days of spring break laugh out loud). Only professional tat not done by a family member. Crappiest one I have!! My cousin has even redone coloring on it and it still doesn't look as good as the others. I learned my lesson here! And yes, I am still a huge fan of HK, I always have been.

4th is a delicate bracelet on my L wrist with my name in the center of it and flowers throughout. I drew my name the way I wanted it and my cousin free handed the rest of it! She is really talented! I got this with a friend on the day I decided to get a divorce from my asshole first husband. It was a liberating thing for me at the time and even ditched work (HOW unprofessional huh EEK!) to go get it done. I felt much better after the tat. I was about to be 21 when I got this one done.

5th is a shooting star with a rainbow in the wake (hope that makes sense) that is placed on the back of my neck. The words around the rainbow are "When you wish upon a star" I designed the whole thing and my cousin made it happen. I have always loved rainbows so I knew I wanted one with me forever, but didn't like the tradition rainbow for a tat. I like the way it turned out. Smilie I got this one when I was 22.

6th is a anklet that matches my bracelet and in stead of my name in the center, it is a butterfly to match the first tat I ever got (this butterfly is much bigger than the first). This is on my R ankle, and it was low on the ankle. My cousin tried to get me to move it up higher, as the lower it is, the more it hurts, but I refused. I wanted it where it is. I agree with sbhiggins, this was my MOST PAINFUL ONE!!! My cousin was right! I was 23 and Jason had to hold my hand as if I was in labor! It hurt so bad, but I really love the end result.

Haven't gotten any since as I was preggo and then breast feeding any other time I went up to MT. Well except last summer, but $$ was tight. So maybe next time we go, I will get one again. I need to since little miss Soph doesn't have a tribute yet. I am thinking of getting a similar fairy for her on my L shoulder blade, to match the one I have for her sister.

Anyways, I am not sure anyone actually read all that (or even cared laugh out loud) but there it is Smilie

I've never worked w/my spouse, thankfully! I'd have to say the same for working w/family though. nod I offered to help my little bro a few weeks ago on my day off. He gave me the worst job! The kids got to wash boats, I had to scrap barnicals (sp?) off a boat bottom & then sand it. Ick! He's so not getting a nice present this year for Christmas! laugh out loud J/K.

Coverlaugh I'm extremely small time, then! I only usually have just two to four inserts to use and go with that. And, whatever fliers, tearpads, peelies I can find. I've never ordered coupons, ever! I've been contemplating on ordering some, but need to work up the nerve/energy to start doing so.

Big hug to you for your DF being so far away! I'm glad you are spending lots of fun times with your DD.

Cute tats! I like your ankle one, so cute. I've always wanted a tattoo, but never got around to getting one. Probably won't, but you never know, I may change my mind! My mom wants a giraffe one on her shoulder (she's bonkers over giraffes laugh out loud). My younger sister has a tattoo of a cow jumping over the moon in color on her lower back. I thought it was an odd choice, but she loves cows. Teehee I'd probably get a little turtle one or HK/Chococat one.
