laugh out loud Censoring on SD is funny!! Big Grin

Anyways, I went to K and to T today. Both were good runs!!!! Whee

I do have a question for all my buds on here that may have used the latest Pampers Diapes/Wipes Q (01) at K recently. *snip*
Along with the other suggestions... I did the same thing with some huggies a while back. Bought all size 3 packs, all the same (or so I thought). Turned out one of them was an older pack with 3 more diapers in it than the newer packs and it had a different UPC.

Quote from Sharon526 :
Apparently more and more people are pulling sh*t like this... I went to return a Tag reading system and the girl goes to open the package after asking if anything was wrong with it. I said, no, we just didn't need it. She continues to open it and I didn't even notice, but the plastic sticker was already cut... She opens it and the pen is GONE! I felt like such as ass because she obviously thought I had done it. I was so embarrassed Embarrassment I couldn't believe someone would do that and then risk someone else buying it and getting screwed. Another time, I was looking at a stroller and the box looked taped up, so I asked to look at it before i bought it and sure enough, the wheels has definite signs of use.
WOW. I would be so embarrassed if this happened to me. I'm taking the seat back tomorrow morning when the store isn't busy so I can see what they can do for me. I'm guessing not really anything except a return but I'm going to see if they can get me one from another store or price match on the newer model. I'll let everyone know. I'm just thankful I opened the box long before we needed it. People are such asshats!

Now granted, this depends on how bad you want one of these, but if you really do, here's what I'd do... I'd take pictures of the seat (showing manuf date, etc) before you return it. Tell them what happened, and that you could have ended up putting your child in an expired/unsafe carseat had you not checked it as you did. Since the mistake is on their part, you would like them to honor the price for another model/pattern in stock. If they won't do it, I'd call CS and would be sure to let them know that I took pictures of the old seat. I have a feeling that they will do it for you though without much of a fight... good luck!

One that is good for Target.com. They send them in emails every now and then, just wondering if there is a current $5 off $50 before I place an order.

Secret Coverlaugh

The real genius around here would be the one who was able to get a substitute RC for the marathon Cool (I know, I know... no RCs for clearance items, but it was a cool thought)

Was this at a store that you normally frequent?

I've found that around here, different Ks will have *slightly* different programming wrt the registers. For example, my closest K rarely has boxes pop up. If I buy 6 different kinds of widgets and have 6 $1 Qs for any widget, all 6 Qs will sail through, no problem. At the next farthest K, however, the dreaded boxes will pop up. Same w/992s... no boxes at the first store, but plenty of boxes at the next.

Perhaps try at a different K and see if the same thing happens? Dontknow I'll try to get to K this week and try it, but it's so hard to pull myself away from the Acme/Jewels/Shaw money-making cat deals! Good thing that one ends on Thursday! Evillaugh
It was a store I frequent that I usually have no problems with. I did notice that a couple of the registers there have pop up boxes all the time, but some don't. The register I was on did make some boxes pop up (on 992's) but had no issues with that since the kid was young and easy to deal with.

Quote from mamaoftwins2 :
Not sure why that happened if you didnt have any other 37000..Were they the big boxes..I remember someone mentioning the big boxes didnt scan properly and the cashier entered them manually..The 01 prompted for price in that case...
No boxes, just the $9.99 packs of the baby dry diapers.

Quote from Thrifty-n-SoCal :
Ariel did you just get one box?
No, I got 4 of the packs of diapers.

Quote from qqueen :
Ariel, I did 3 boxes yesterday, no problem. Check the UPC on the receipt and make sure that all 3 match up. Maybe the cashier scanned a conveyable barcode?

Or did she maybe enter a quantity and then just scan 1 box x 3?
If she did that, then it wouldn't have worked.
I don't think that he did the quantity button, but they did show up on the receipt as 4 @ 9.99. Dontknow

I don't have the packs anymore, as my "friend" lives near me and she was here within 10 minutes of me getting home (I guess she really needed the diapes laugh out loud), but I think they were all the sae UPC since the way they ended up on the receipt. Dontknow

Ok, well I guess I will try again (on a different register) and see what happens Smilie Thanks guys!!! Grouphug Blowkiss heart

I meant to tell you guys but been so busy with work---twice now on random KM runs when traveling, the $3 listerine q has added like $8000 to my order. It's ridiculous and they have to reboot. Just FYI.

That elmo record and play phone is unmarked at Target but it's 75% off. There's also an imaginext island of lost creatures dinosaur, infantino drop/slide caterpillar, FP select a show soother and lots of others. Just scan.

We had to bring DS to the hospital today for some testing and there were 2 targets within 20 min. The boys went with me to both and we scanned away!! Funny thing is one store had 30% signs/stickers on everything. It was 75%. I'm also seeing a pile of new markdowns for 30% which is different than what they did last year. So it's scheduled clearance again.
