Miss a couple of days watching the weather and we go from a Maybe the first named storm (Ana) and now there are three EEK! Bill is the one to watch. It has a tight eye already. Hopefully it will go out to sea. I've been looking at homes this week, and I found a few I really really like, all of which are either on the river or a block from the river and on a tidal creek, go figure, I'd like the ones that you have to buy flood insurance for Crazy
I opened the RK one and promptly slammed it shut! It scared the Horse out of me LMAO

yeah, Bill is going to be much worse than Ana. EEK! It looks like it may be headed your way too hug

I got the LOUD Rice Krispies mailer from VocalPoint a few weeks ago, scared the crap out of me when I opened it! I didn't get the Bounce Bar one, hope I do. Yesterday I got a box of Kashi Honey Sunshine cereal with a bunch of $1.50 coupons. Had the cereal today and it's really good. It's Cap'n Crunch shaped, and totally tastes like honey. I'd buy this at the right price sometime!

Me too. I've paid full price twice the past 2 weeks. Our old supply is dwindling, need to replace with new ones. I swear I want to buy 10 more as backups, I hate when something all goes at once.

I don't have any advice for the sciatica itself - other than to seek out medical treatment - especially since it is interfering with your life. As for sleeping, have you tried Benadryl? It's non-habit forming and it allows you to get into REM sleep - something that traditional sleeping pills don't allow (and therefore don't give the restful, healing sleep that you need.)

Sciatica basically has to work thru - you should try heat, gentle stretches, chiro if you can tolerate it, extra pillows when lying on your side .... but mostly time. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! I struggle with terrible sciatic pain that is quite chronic .... mostly it does what it wants and you have to struggle around it Frown

I picked up 2 of the WAGS activity books - I can send you the coupons out of the second one ... if you keep them together in a sheet (hold them in YOUR hand) and point to the one they should scan you can keep them & use them repeatedly. PM me your addy if that would be helpful!

Thrifty thinking of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!heart

I probably do need to go back to doctor but nights like tonight when I think I am calling for an appt. tomorrow are ususally followed by great days where I do not hurt until very late in the day.

Will keep the Benadryl in mind.... I had tried Tylenol Sleep several months ago and it was worse than nothing. My DS had used it a couple of nights and it worked for him. I did read this a few months ago and sent it to my dad because he was using Benadryl and Tylenol PM..... It is from the People's Pharmacy newspaper column....

Q. My 62-year-old husband had a prostatectomy a year ago. It was successful, but he continues to have bladder problems. His urologist put him on Detrol for this.

When he started acting confused and paranoid, I got concerned. At the urologist's appointment I explained this to the doctor and he matter-of-factly muttered that, yes, a side effect is COGNITIVE DECLINE.

I was shocked and very upset that this was not in any of the pharmacy inserts we got with the prescription. Why isnt this information more accessible?

A. It is alarming that the pharmacy inserts did not mention mental impairment as a possible side effect of your husbands medication. Drugs for overactive bladder or incontinence like Detrol or Ditropan have been linked with memory problems and confusion in some patients (Clinical Therapeutics, Feb. 2005).

Medicines that alter the action of a brain chemical called acetylcholine are notorious for causing side effects such as dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision and cognitive impairment. Many other drugs besides those for bladder problems can trigger such symptoms. They include the antihistamine diphenhydramine, which is used to control allergy symptoms and insomnia. It is found in such popular products as Advil PM, Benadryl and Tylenol PM.

I plan to read ingredients just to be sure.... I certainly need every marble I have at this pointshake head And I would not rely on this article without doing more research. My dad was having some real issues that included dry mouth, confusion, poor balance, etc. and I was just really hoping it was something other than the brain cancer recurring.... so I wanted to blame it on the OTC drugs.

Thanks for the tips. I truly have empathy for you having chronic sciatica, that would be very hard to deal with. I have only had it once before when I was very PG. It went away immediately after having DS. It is funny how it varies. Yesterday I was on cloud 9 because I grocery shopped with zero pain. Today it hurt more all day. I thought I was going to have to leave Target. But I am so much better than before.

My grocery store (HEB) has good store brand Benadryl I used when I had horrible cedar fever. I just checked and I still have 18 left. I truly do appreciate the offer of the WAGS activity book. Those are hard to find and you are very generous to offer it!

Take care of yourself and thanks for the info and offer!

Yahoo! that is the 2nd good report. Someone else reported last night they had no issues with that coupon woot

I'm going back for the second round of doubles at shift change Evillaugh Had no issues this morning with them taking more than 10 coupons. They didn't even bring it up Whee this trip I'm going to try and roll some cats to GC. My Jedi is working tonight so it should not be a problem Evil
I'm hoping I get doubles til Tuesday again since I have a SuperK nearby. I decided to buy Trios first before my big order and the woman in front of me had a lot of coupons. A nosy supervisor came over and was like "you know there's a limit" and the woman was like "I called last night and was told no limit" and the supervisor was like "well we don't make a big deal about it, but we don't want people overdoing it and you have to watch that she didn't get more than 4 shampoos, etc.". Rolleyes2 Whatever, don't arbitrarily impose the limit then.
I had no problems with my way more than 10 coupons.

Thanks! hug back to you.... It is so nice to have so much input from different perspectives. And hugs are always good for all of us. Especially at the end of the week. I am reading a great book so going to grab a big glass of water, my book and towel and soak in the tub, take my 1/2 a Vicodin and call it a day.

My 17 yo old son had an interesting observation today. I forgot to check my SM's Depends supply Friday a week ago so I definitely needed to go out today to check on her and take her a new bag. Anyway, he actually commented that it is kind of sad that life is a big circle. Kids get out of diapers, progress to walking, dressing themselves, talking coherently, driving, cooking, etc. and then if people live long enough, many of them lose those skills one by one until they are like babies again. It would have been an even more impressive observation had he not asked me if I would make his PB&J sandwich for him before I left. And the answer was not only no, but you know what no..... He is headed downhill before he got anywhere near the peak of self-sufficiency.

You guys should get a kick out of this... my DH shaves with an electric razor - always has. So this AM, he comes in and says to me, "I want to try shaving with a regular razor, just to try it - do you have a razor and some shaving cream?". Do I have a razor and some shaving cream???????? Rofl2 Rofl2 Rofl2 Better question is how many hundred razors and shaving gel do I have? LMAO

So after I manage to stop laughing, wipe the tears from my face, and wipe the pee running down my legs, I head downstairs to look for a razor/shave gel for DH. Now here's the horrible part, I couldn't find a single razor Mad I pack everything in totes and since he doesn't use razors, those totes were buried deep in the stockpile. Ironic, isn't it? laugh out loud So DH ended up just using his electric razor. Nothing like having a lifetime supply of something but not being able to get to it Sadwalk
