This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I feel like I keep saying this, but man, you guys have big kids. I don't think my guy has broken 40 lbs or 40 inches and he's well over 3 years old.
took my DD for her 18 mo checkup yesterday.. she is 35 inches! I knew she was tall, but even I was surprised. She weighed 26 pounds. Funny how kids vary so much isnt it?

SBH.. so sorry about your purse. I don't have near that many GC, (guess I haven't gotten as good as you guys yet), but I wouldn't want to lose my little 75.00 in GC, so I can imagine how bad it feelshug

Thanks! That's what I always thought. Now, I'm just going to spend GC right away, no matter what so I'm not carrying them around or anything, I guess.
Naw, just do what I do and stockpile 'em at home. Once my GC come in, they stay there until the trip when they're getting spent...or otherwise disposed of.

So I did end up calling the police today and reported it (figured if it become an identity theft issue later I better substantiate it) and then spent mucho time on the phone with the bank trying to get our checking account cancelled and transferred over to a new one. Apparently the farkers used my Visa debit card at a bunch of gas stations and also made an online purchase with it. So now my DH is all up in arms to try to get the address so he can sic the police on them or something. I'm not hopeful.
Mmmkay, so here's whatcha do: get your bank and the APD to coordinate. Most gas stations have surveillance cameras on their pumps in case of drive-offs, so you SHOULD have a clear record of the car that used yer debit card. AND, since it's an auto burglary (which is still a felony, last time I checked) instead of just a "lost" debit card, the cops might actually want to look these asshats up.

ACT FAST, before they purge the tapes (luckily most stations have gone to digital now and keep their surveillance vids indefinitely, but ya never know, so make haste). DON'T take no for an answer from the coppers, either---keep climbing the ladder until you get satisfaction (kinda like at Target, heh heh).

DH may be onto something as well regarding the online purchase, though many crooks will ship stuff to a mail drop or some other address (like an unoccupied house) to avoid using their real address. BUT, having them on video using the card at a gas pump will be pretty hard to get away from.

Go, SB---get 'em!!!!

Yeah, DP, I was gonna use that one, too...but the purse sounded so much sillier.

Roll I was thinking "I hope I get one!"

There's a size 16 Renuzit printable on coupons.com right now.
Also (same ZIP), there's a BOGO Hasbro Transformers that looks like it might be VERY friendly (if you like toys, I guess).

And a $3/2 Flintstones vitamins---you listenin', Agent B?

Hmmm, these are 992s (Renuzit and Flintstones...the BOGO is a size 14); will they beeeeeeep?

My debit card was with USAA and maybe it is the ex-military influence, but the group you report theft to were calling the gas station to get the video tapes, etc. So maybe even if the police do not follow up, your bank might.

Oooh, INAA did a much better job with this one than I did....

OK, I have a propensity to sign up for too many free things. But not normally for things I have no clue how we or someone we know can use. Today my DH got a package for being a Similac mom who just delivered a baby. Uh, no and no. Two cans of Similac which my DH immediately says I should not struggle to find somewhere 30 minutes away to drop off. OK, nbd, those can get dropped at DS's old daycare and someone with a baby there can use them.

But can anyone use 4 $5 Similac formula checks? They have DH's name on them, but I think I read on SD somewhere that does not matter. Gone- They found a great home.
