This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

LOL! It says that it's just like a hamster without the feeding and the mess. Let's not forget the part where the hamster plays houdini and escapes from the cage! At least you won't have to worry about a rotten hamster body in your wall of your home EEK!

Okay, so I just cashed in a bunch of swag bucks. I'm gonna wait for them to clear and order this thing. Is it wrong to admit that i am intrigued by this toy and want to play with it? LMAO

Okay friendly chit-chatters! I have a question please? I'm begging please please please!

I unfortunately need to buy all new christmas presents for my DD Mad Naughty girl was she and got into the place I had them hidden!

Anyhow, she has been wanting a pet hamster. Due to our current pet's (7 animals), I am not buying another one shake head Anyhow, I saw this commerical on Nick tonight for some kind of toy that has a hamster in it. It has these tubes and a play set for it to interact with. I think you can rub it's back and it squeaks or "talks" to you.

I thought it might be a littlest pet shop item, but it's not, I have searched everywhere on their site for it!

So my question is, does anyone know what the heck this thing is called? And most importantly LMAO has anyone seen this in stores, and even more specifically Target or Wal-Hell?

Thank you very much for your replies, I am not getting any concrete results with google (Although some terribly cute hamster pictures!) and it's driving me nuts!

OMG how old is your DD? If that were in my house, Christmas would be slim. Roll

She is 5 Smilie

I honestly think the overwhelment of toys in bags in the closet was just too much for her. Considering everything was 75% off @ T, I'm not as mad as I would be if everything was full price. There is over $400 of toys in there that I paid maybe $75 for (Didj alone was regularly $70 right? With $10 q it was $8). The are a few that I know she did not see, so I can still "santa" those.

I think DD is still traumatized over the hamster she had when she was little. She's never quite gotten over the Freddy Kruger scene that ensued when her hamster gave birth to a bunch of little hamsters and proceeded to eat them, and then died. There were little legs, feet, etc all over the place vomit Can't imagine WHY she would still like hamsters after that Confused

Once (before the baby eating fiasco) it got loose and we couldn't find it anywhere. I was sitting at the kitchen table with a friend having cake and coffee when the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Sure enough, there it was in the hallway, standing on it's hind legs staring at me with it's beady little red eyes. Cold

I store "santa'' stuff in the hall closet WAY up high behind toilet paper stockpiles, etc. (like who doesn't have a Charmin stockpile? oh fark! *note to self: NO FARKING HAMSTERS*
that's horrific.
I had a hammie when I was in 2nd grade. We got the brilliant idea to take him on a 'flight' in our Little Peoples Jet and it didn't end well. He ended up with a broken leg. We tried to 'set' it (we being a giggling group of 2nd grade girls who watched too many episodes of General Hospital) with a band-aid and a toothpick. He lived for a while after that, but we found him dead on my birthday. The party quickly turned into a funeral and we buried him out back with a full service.
hmmmm. disturbing to think one of my kids is that same age I was during these shenanigans Scratchchin

I don't think that makes you a mean mom. Some of those toys weren't for her and I told her that she opened someone elses toys up (I got 12 of those little puppies in the carrier for her school friends for xmas presents)...She has not made any mention of it now. Just means I have to move the toys out to the shed...I know she can't get in there and the house does not have very much storage space

OMG on the hamster thing, that is just crazy!

We have a guinea pig, so cute! 100x better than a hamster could ever be! Has a much longer life span, is a lot nicer (doesn't bite!), and I think they are more fun! GP loves to jump and run around in the cage and loves to run around in the play yard we bought.
