When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! LOL! It says that it's just like a hamster without the feeding and the mess. Let's not forget the part where the hamster plays houdini and escapes from the cage! At least you won't have to worry about a rotten hamster body in your wall of your home
Okay, so I just cashed in a bunch of swag bucks. I'm gonna wait for them to clear and order this thing. Is it wrong to admit that i am intrigued by this toy and want to play with it?
I unfortunately need to buy all new christmas presents for my DD
Anyhow, she has been wanting a pet hamster. Due to our current pet's (7 animals), I am not buying another one
I thought it might be a littlest pet shop item, but it's not, I have searched everywhere on their site for it!
So my question is, does anyone know what the heck this thing is called? And most importantly
Thank you very much for your replies, I am not getting any concrete results with google (Although some terribly cute hamster pictures!) and it's driving me nuts!
OMG how old is your DD? If that were in my house, Christmas would be slim.
I honestly think the overwhelment of toys in bags in the closet was just too much for her. Considering everything was 75% off @ T, I'm not as mad as I would be if everything was full price. There is over $400 of toys in there that I paid maybe $75 for (Didj alone was regularly $70 right? With $10 q it was $8). The are a few that I know she did not see, so I can still "santa" those.

Once (before the baby eating fiasco) it got loose and we couldn't find it anywhere. I was sitting at the kitchen table with a friend having cake and coffee when the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Sure enough, there it was in the hallway, standing on it's hind legs staring at me with it's beady little red eyes.

We had quite a few of them growing up, but I sure don't want any now! They can be mean little farkers!

OMG! :peeing my pants smilie: This is too funny! Santa brought my kids a hampster for xmas last year. They adored him! My 2 y/o actually loved him to death. I think his little grip was a bit too tight. My 4 y/o comes running up to me with the dead hampster in her hands screaming "Sparky's dead, oh mom he's dead!"......I have a fear of dead things so I had her put him back in his cage to wait for big brothers to come home from school to have the funeral but during nap time my 2 y/o snuck out of bed and decidied to keep playing with dead Sparky, he got irritated when he wasnt running aound and playing that he punched a hole thru my screen window and let Sparky fly.........

that's horrific.
I had a hammie when I was in 2nd grade. We got the brilliant idea to take him on a 'flight' in our Little Peoples Jet and it didn't end well. He ended up with a broken leg. We tried to 'set' it (we being a giggling group of 2nd grade girls who watched too many episodes of General Hospital) with a band-aid and a toothpick. He lived for a while after that, but we found him dead on my birthday. The party quickly turned into a funeral and we buried him out back with a full service.
hmmmm. disturbing to think one of my kids is that same age I was during these shenanigans

Doing well
oh fark! *note to self: NO FARKING HAMSTERS*

Ha! we do it with Scrabble too. When the kids were little, they had those spelling Leap catepillers and we would try to make it say dirty words. He was smarter than us and would just "uh oh" instead
OMG on the hamster thing, that is just crazy!
We have a guinea pig, so cute! 100x better than a hamster could ever be! Has a much longer life span, is a lot nicer (doesn't bite!), and I think they are more fun! GP loves to jump and run around in the cage and loves to run around in the play yard we bought.
