Then their convenience got the best of me. I started wearing them during quick trips the the grocery store, or a department store return.
OMG. Every time I did I started feeling self-inflicted trama. At my worst, I threw on the ugly cheap shoes, and my cheapest stray shirt to return something to Kohls 'real quick'. A street person asked me if I was off my meds.
Never again.

Edit: after wearing them for a couple hours I decided to return them. Despite being cheap, they're not very comfortable enough and the plastic sole is already indented. I'd rather put $8 towards a higher quality shoe.

Yeah the insole is so flat, it feels like cheaply made, when you wear it like a slipper it doesn't feel....well that piece is there and it's annoying, not that easy to get in and out either for both slipper and shoe wearing.
