If you have a smaller family they do sell items that aren't as large in bulk as say a sams club and such places. But yeah if you don't typically need items in bulk then it probably wouldn't be as useful to you. Though you could buy bulk items that have long expirations or don't really expire like toilet paper.
I got so excited, & then so pissed off in a matter of within maybe 1.5–2 seconds of seeing this, all bc of that!🤦🏻 ♀️😭
There's another warehouse about 20 min away (which is the one I had always used before new opened up right over here —but haven't visited the new one just yet, as I mentioned they just opened up this month/a couple weeks ago ), but this new location would be less than a 10 min drive!
Just be aware, if it's anything like what I just mentioned, they also might have a "deadline" to sign up & get the $10 cash rewards.
With the last membership promo I purchased, I could activate my membership in-store at any time (I mean, *that part* never expires), *but*, I lost out on the $20 or so in cash-cards I was supposed to get, bc it was apparently only good for them for like 3 months from when I had originally purchased the membership online. 🙄🧐
I have had BJ's and currently have Costco, and Sam's very close by and all within a couple miles of each other. I have no problem with BJ's. I may like Costco better but BJ's has stuff that Costco doesn't quite often. Same for Sam's.

When you sign up, they don't ask for store and give you a full membership id# after signing up, so you are a full member walking in there. Again, not sure why they list exclusions, but I think it is worth a try.
Maybe I possibly won't get the $10 monthly rewards, but someone else mentioned they did this last time and they got it. Also, I know the store offers them because the person inline in front of me used one.
