Some research and I mean, "some" would have lead you to know the Sony won't do 1440p @ 120hz and drops Dolby Vision when doing 4k @ 120hz... and no VRR in any mode.
Basically, for a $2,000+ TV it's trash for gamers.

The samsung may have a slight advantage with VRR on the xbox series x right now, that's about it.
Samsungs don't have dolby vision at all.
The sony is definitely better for movie watching, gaming it's a tougher decision I suppose.
