IPS vs VA, curve vs non curve, different refresh rates. They are quite different. Depends on what you want to do. This one does have a slightly better assortment of ports (HDMI+DP+DVI) vs (2xHDMI).

assuming you have a budget of ~200, this Acer will be better for gaming, and the LG will be better for all around general use.

the higher refresh rate on this Acer is better for fast paced games, but the LG's IPS will have better and more vibrant colors.

1800r curve on a 32in monitor isn't a noticeable curve. 1500 or less or spend less for a flat.
