I second this. Falls out much more easily, particularly when I smile. The sound is so much better though that I just walk around with permanent bitch face now 😂

Second gen fits better
Third gen has better sound

I found third gens too big for my ear and they fall out easy

No complaints what's so ever with my 2nd gen. I tried pros but had to return them... they go to deep in my ear and feel uncomfortable but hey that's my opinion.

If they fit your ear, Is there a listening device for iOS at the same price point that gives you (1) seamless switching between devices: bring up Apple Music on other apple device, click play, pods auto-connect to new device and music starts in you ear. (2) gives you great call quality (3) gives you maximum iOS compatibility in a small, lightweight, dope ass form factor that doubles as recognizable ear jewelry?????? Nope. Cough up the Benji you'll be happy. Any additional discounts are icing on the cake.


The bulb is bigger on the Gen 3. They were big in my ears. Ordered these $99 Gen 2 👍. Much better fit.
- Spatial Audio is a fun feature on Gen 3👍. Next level stuff.
- Gen 3 gestures are squeeze gestures VS double tap gesture on Gen 2. 🍎🍊.

"Spatial audio", better call audio, and "squeeze gestures" were not enough to make me keep the Gen 3. I kept the Gen 2. Kiddie got the Gen 3.

When all the tapping and squeezing become problematic, you can default to "Hey Siri".

AirPods just get out of your way.

Sub 40 earbuds also usually look like butt. These are a decent deal for people that want to be in the apple ecosystem and don't want the seal of air pods pro.
