Good for you. You could just grow and dehydrate your own onions so you know who grew them and where.
It's been already established the last time that this product was NOT sourced from China. In fact, the United States is the world's largest producer of it. Stop with the false narratives. You read that one comment on Amazon and ran with it.
Thanks for the attitude. It was a simple question from someone that was not aware of any previous discussion. I see nothing in this tread that discus's origin.
I do enjoy civil discussion, Thanks for the help.

Thanks op! Accidentally bought the powder last time and this helps lessen the burn of buying the right thing sooner than I would have normally 😋
You can turn the granules into powder with a food processor or blender!

What is that for , burger?
A number of things. The flavor is that of a cooked onion, similar to french onion soup.

You can put the granules on a burger and let stand for 20 min, then cook.

It can be added to soups when you want some onion flavor. I like it in a chowder.

You can grind it to powder with a food processor and use that in a meat rub.

Yeah I've had it happen to me as well. I believe it's the humidity that makes it clump. Try transferring to an air tight jar with some desiccant?
It doesn't affect the taste. Just use something to smack it finely again. I'd rather use this without any other fillers added in to the product, like silicon/silica for anti-caking. Do we need anymore plastic in our foods?

It also great for marinated the meat. For dry rubbed meat marinate. Any type of one pot meal like chili and stew.

Does anyone else have problems with the powder hardening a few months after you use it for the first time?
I stored some in a small shaker in the garage with my Blackstone griddle stuff, it got rock hard. Keep it inside in a dry location.
