I needed a laptop so my collage student could send his in for warranty repair. I saw this laptop on the Walmart site marked down to $399 and decided to check Brickseek which said a store in a city about 20 miles away had 6 of them for $299. The Walmart app said zero for inventory at this location but another store had them for $399, I decided to check anyway and sure enough they actually had 7 of them. I am guessing when Walmart puts laptops on clearance they pull them from their inventory? I think it is the panel type people don't like but Slickdeals, Quickbooks, Excell all look perfect on it. I went to Youtube and played the 4K video for LG Oled tv's and it did make half of the screen green at first but then started to play correctly and it looked awesome. I also watched a Dimmu Borgir concert and it looked perfect. For $299 it seems to be a pretty Slickdeal. Downside is no backlit keyboard and it doesn't seem to have 5g WiFi, also the track pad will only right mouse click on the bottom right corner. It only has room for one M2 drive and both ram slots are full.

Yeah, wondered why my Dimmu Borgir alert went off.
Why is it so bad?
For $300, it's not bad, for $400, you can do better. Some people just like to complain if a laptop isn't perfect at any price.

This is actually not bad if u can get it for 299. Great starter laptop for college
It's not that bad. Would benefit from memory upgrade but you'd have to buy two sticks as this appears to be 2x4gb. The processor outperforms an i7-10750H. For 299 that's pretty impressive.
