The Vitamin C portion of this product is a joke:

OK, natural vs. synthetic. Let's start with vitamin C. Most sources equate vitamin C with ascorbic acid, as though they were the same thing. They're not. Ascorbic acid is an isolate, a fraction, a distillate of naturally occurring vitamin C. In addition to ascorbic acid, vitamin C must include rutin, bioflavonoids, Factor K, Factor J, Factor P, tyrosinase, ascorbinogen, and other components.

In addition, mineral co-factors must be available in proper amounts.

If any of these parts are missing, there is no vitamin C, no vitamin activity. When some of them are present, the body will draw on its own stores to make up the differences, so that the whole vitamin may be present. Only then will vitamin activity take place, provided that all other conditions and co-factors are present. Ascorbic acid is described merely as the "antioxidant wrapper" portion of vitamin C; ascorbic acid protects the functional parts of the vitamin from rapid oxidation or breakdown.

If you think of the Real Vitamin C as an orange. Ascorbic Acid is would be the peel. But somehow the industry has scammed the masses into claiming Ascorbic Acid should be called Vitmain C, when it is only part of the Real Vitamin C complex

And this is HALF of a "megadose" which might cause those mild side effects in very few people. Question, how many ER's are full right now due to vitamin C overdoes? Remember anyone, like anyone, who ever told you there were sick from taking too much vitamin C?

Coffee (heck, anything with caffeine) has all those side effects and at single serving quantities. But keep fighting the good fight of saving people from the horrors of possibly needless vitamin C consumption. They'll sing songs about you for generations.

P.S. Odd you didn't quote the Mayo Clinic saying this "When taken at appropriate doses, oral vitamin C supplements are generally considered safe." Wonder why you left that out?

Scientifically, this much of this type of vitamin C isn't going to do much (good OR harm) to our bodies, but I do think that the real benefit of these are the electrolytes that are inherently found in their powders. Though they have a specific electrolyte powder I think, which this is not.

Did this work for any Non-Prime members?

I tried the Super Orange and Tangerine, both don't show the B1G1 at checkout

Our bodies cannot naturally produce Vitamin C, so it must be through diets, usually fruits. Some people do not eat enough vitamin C-rich fruits to attain a sufficient level, thus, supplements can help. Harvard School of Medicine recommends at least 1000mg of Vit C daily, either through diets or supplementation.

So let a stranger spend their $6 in peace every 200 days if it at worst will do zero harm. I bet most if these anti-vitamin justice warriors people see their family, friends, coworkers spending $6+ on coffee PER DAY that is contributing to diabetes and raising blood pressure but zero outcry there....however "OMG the evil multivitamin must be stopped." LOL...that is where were are as a society.

Vitamin C is cheap, therefore, it is ineffective or even "dangerous."

You should see a doctor, preferably with private insurance or even private pay, for every hypochondriac worry, and consume patented pharmaceuticals regularly as prescribed by your drug rep, uh, your physician, without question.

Oh, and get your booster, they're "safe and effective." - Mayo Clinic

We are at in society a very dark place, where the love of money is, indeed, the root of all evil, and truth is whatever you want it to be. If you insist that 2 + 2 = 4, you are condemned by lunatics as a "bigot."

Quality supplements and cheap but effective medicines are a huge obstacle for billions in pharma profits. Hence, we've seen the attacks on n-Acetyl Cysteine and Ivermectin with rabid ferocity. As for Vitamin C, Linus Pauling was right.

I cringe at the thought of being considered a "fact" (sic) checker, but do you have a credible source of discussion of this assertion, namely, that L-Ascorbic Acid is not processed by the body as "Vitamin C"? I looked up your assertion, and it seems to be common on self-serving "health" sites that "just happen" to sell "real" Vitamin C supplements at exorbitant prices. I have no use for mega pharma corporations OR for smaller-time grifters peddling "good health" - both with lies and distortions.

If you do S&S it doubles the percent off since it takes it off the total price, not the BOGO price. Got 30% off (S&S 15% x2) so a little less than $7 for 2
Kinda confused on what it takes to trigger the 15% S&S. I tried 5 of the same and mix and match of different items on the promo to get to the supposed 5+ needed to get 15% off, and neither gave me the 15% S&S, only 5%.
