You might be able to use first responder for the discount, if i recall there is no verification, at least when I bought a G7 in december.

250 nit brightness kinda isnt enough. I have a 3440*1440p at that brightness i kinda wish i got something brighter

I was about to comment the same, I have a 1500R monitor but sit pretty close. Honestly I would like to try a 1000R however it might be weird outside of gaming.

This got me chuckles. I wasn't asking for a trick in my first post, it was merely frustration that I can't seem to avail any of those discounts and I'm in market for a nice monitor. It's just like how some folks with no Costco membership at times feel envy of all cool Costco deals.
