My research indicates this is $22.23 lower (30.78% savings) than the next best price from a reputable merchant with prices starting from $72.22 at time of posting.
Have this, it has uneven heating on the grill plates. It's hotter at the plug to grill and radiates from there. I wouldn't get it again cuz of really uneven cooking and the more stuff on the grill plate really cools the outer grill plate cooking a lot.

But do you think it's worth it at $50? looking for a simple electric grill for outside
It is good enough (not to be construed as being great), and the main thing is that it's electric, so it complies with stipulations in lease agreements where landlords forbid grills other than electric.

Nope. Bought at 50 on clearance with cover & wobbly stand at Home Depot, never use it. keep it telling myself I'll use it one day for teppanyaki on the table

No I wouldn't, because radiating heat from the plug prongs makes only half the grill plate useful, no more than a 12" skillet. So medium burgers near plug and light raw burgers on other side. I think it's cheaper, easier to clean, and more useable space from a couple of 12" grill cast iron skillets on stove or those double burner stove grill plates. And iirc the grill plate of Foreman doesn't detach for cleaning. Hope that helps you. .

Thanks for the information. I think I'll avoid it in that case. The non-detachable plates is another no on my end

Prepandemic as an RA we had 2 of them for 3 weeks and 9 bbqs during student orientation hoping it was break in, but it never got better. They were returned and we switched to the double burner grill plates for the stove, so much better and cheaper.
