You know what? This is a good deal. 1650 Super is a good card for 1080p gaming, and if you need more oomph you're looking in the wrong place anyway

Can't believe my 9 year old 970 is faster than this card.
Yeah these 1650 and 1660 GPUs are trash…

Previous deal: $640
Intel i5-10400: ~$140
1660 Super: ~$400
8GB DDR4-2666 RAM: ~$30
256GB NVME SSD: ~$27

This deal: $685
Intel i5-10700: ~$270
1650 Super: ~$280
12GB DDR4 RAM: ~$50
512GB NVME SSD: ~$45

This has a better CPU, bigger NVME SSD, and more RAM... but this deal is not for you if you plan on selling the GPU. For comparison I priced out a Core i5 12400, 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM, 512GB NVME, Case, and PSU, and it came out to $462. I.E. about $220 less than this. So you can get a better CPU, slightly better quality components, and a 1650 Super for about this price if you build yourself. Obviously not for everybody, but provides a price reference.

All in all, I'd say this is a pretty crappy deal.

Your comments help me to decide to go for this. I'm not very handy so if the NVME is hard to upgrade can I add a 2nd 1TB NVME instead ( is there an extra slot for this)? That's all the extra storage I really need.
No extra slot for another NVME. I will likely pick up an external case for the one I bought.

I have been running games off an external SSD with no issues, so not really concerned as the NVME just has the operating system.

Can anyone please advise me on how well this PC will handle the new Microsoft Flight sim?

https://www.systemrequirementslab...ator/19451

I'm not much of a PC gamer, but I want to be sure that my next PC will be able to handle this game comfortably. TIA!

Spent $35 and upped the RAM to 16gb. This is perfect for my Atgames Legends Pinball stand-alone PC running Steam Fx3 and Pinup Popper

It would not be able to play it well. You would have to play at 1080p and medium or low settings to get near 30 fps.

If you want a comfortable 60fps experience you're going to need at least a $600 Nvidia RTX3070 graphics card.

Peevious deal was i5-11400. https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/693985
You're totally right. Last deal was a much better offering imo. Hopefully some better deals are coming around the corner. Kind of surprised there's even any Intel 10 series CPU stuff floating around.

Not enough of an upgrade over my Haswell i5 and GTX 1060 6GB, right?
But your pc can't install windows 11. You're stuck at 10.
