4-Pack of 6-Outlet Philips Extender Surge Protector Wall Tap with 900 Joules for $20 + free shipping on $25+ or Prime

Gray [amazon.com] or White [amazon.com]

Walmart has them for the same price + free shipping with Walmart+ or on $35+

Black [walmart.com]
Gray [walmart.com] OOS
White [walmart.com]

A few details: the price for a single unit is usually $7 and up so the list price is a little off, does not have a mounting screw so I would not recommended for an outlet that is used a lot, does not have any USB ports and the light can be bright at first but you can/will easily get used to it.

I wish at least reputed companies like Philips and GE try to use these products themselves and understand that usability suffers if,
1. They don't provide a pass-through retainer screw feature and
2. If the sockets are bunched up so close that it's impossible to have 3 plugs in a row - only 2 possible.

Don't they listen to customer feedback via Amazon reviews? Don't they have usability experts who actually test their products?

Haven't tried it with mine. But wonder if we can drill a hole in the middle if there isn't any circuitry and pass a screw through ourselves.

I have a Belkin version of one of these. I only plug in thing that stay plugged in for the same reason everyone mentioned about no center screw. The "protected" led is nice to have feature. I lost a ground in a wall due to construction and the indicator light alerted me to this. My Belkin turns red when you don't have ground so it's a better design in my opinion.

It has protected my PC and TV when the vacuum or hairdryer blows the fuse. Take it out for 30 seconds and it resets itself. The downside to this is not having the center screw to keep it attached at all time.

Can we use these for Refrigerator/MicroWave/Washer/Dryer?
Product description doesn't say much
I have my gas dryer and electric washer plugged in and then use my vacuum at the same time everyday.

Joules value means relatively little. Clamping Voltage is what matters, and the Clamping Voltage is not listed, which usually is not a good sign. Clamping Voltage should be 440v or less, and better units have it 330v or less.

So there is no reset button?
