If there is any wind, this candle is about as good as not having anything. This candle was useless for me.

Tyvm op! Even though our back porches is screened in, a few always still manage to get in. A couple of citronella usually does the trick.

Haven't tried these yet but I'm in for four. Even if they don't keep the bugs away, wood wick candles are fun.

If you're buying it because you want a candle and like the scent of citronella this is a good deal.

If you're buying this for the purpose of repelling mosquitos it won't work and neither will any other citronella candle.

I had about 50 mosquitos that would hang around my front door in south Florida. They would mostly stand on the wall. I put a citronella candle right under them. No affect AT ALL. It was like 8" away from some of them and they didn't give a shit. It was Martha Stewart brand if that makes a difference.
