While your link has good information, I feel there would be so much more information out there. We have rice fields near our home and we deal with mosquitoes quite a bit. We have used these candles and they work well. The best way to use these is create a enclosed space. What I mean by that is, I have 4 candles and put them at four corners of the area. We sit in the middle and almost provides a dome.
Just my 2 cents and at $2.95, I can work with that.
Last time I went camping I used citronella and it kept the mosquitos away at night, but in the morning there was a huge swarm of some other type of bees/flies engulfing our campsite because of the citronella. Anyone know why?

Even inside edition had a better test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaJeg3f
Above poster had it right though. In an open area, 1 candle isn't going to work.

At Walmart, I see $2.94 with free store pickup (available at my local store).
