Not only that but equally as many comments saying that other standard fan screws don't fit either. Pretty much a deal breaker right there for me as the potential hassle of that isn't worth saving a few bucks. I also see lots of noisy complaints as well which is unfortunate, but I wouldn't hold that against the fan given the price, especially if they are going to be speed controlled and not run full tilt full time.

I believe these fans are designed for radiators on all in one cooling systems. I wouldn't recommend them as regular PC fans as they're pretty loud and you would need to source machine screws and nuts to mount them.

I own these fans, they are great for the money, been good for the past month or so. You will need some form of speed control i.e. motherboard headers to set lower rpm.

I used bolts I had spare, not the kind that bite into the plastic of run of the mill fans but bolts from the hardware store.

I got some of these the last time they were on sale. I was worried by all the complaints, but the are really pretty good. They are loud at full speed, but they still move plenty of air and are very quiet at lower rpms. My other fans are Arctic p14pwm and they are about the same flow/noise, but right now the Arctics are 10.99 each and these are 7.00

I wouldn't be afraid to get more of these at all. But it's true they DO NOT come with screws, nor does it seem like regular fan screws would work, so if that is a big deal, I would get the arctics. Or better yet, skip PWM and get the 5-pack of Arctic P14 on Amazon for $31.99.

I have the fan, it isn't noisy at all. no mounting gear included at all, and it's a thicker fan so typical case fan screws will not work. it'll need those plastic/silicone standoffs or ziptie ftw.

I believe he is joking. These are "gaming fans" as if moving air is specific to that task. It is as if any other processing intensive task also has a similar specific need to move air different.
Now that's how I ruin jokes

Hope this helps. I bought six running as case fans at 1200RPM minimum and the noise is minimal. They are a great deal for efficient and high-grade fans even with the screw price.

Tech Specs
140mm
Depth 26mm
500 - 1,800 ± 300RPM
Airflow 27.27 - 98.17 CFM
Static Pressure 0.21 - 2.71 mm-H₂O
Noise 21 - 38 dBA
Fan Life Hours
60,000
Years 6
Warranty 2 years

M5 x 10 mm Button Head Hex Socket Cap Screws, 10.9 Grade Alloy Steel, Black Oxide Finish, 50 PCS $4.99

Some people use zip-ties, which work well too (as another member stated). The same member stated the rubber standoffs. I have only heard of rivets, but I have never used them on these fans so I don't know if these work, but they are said to improve the noise.

The artics are great and come with a ten-year warranty. Fan speed: 200–1700 RPM, Airflow: 72.8 CFM/123.76 m³/h (@ 1700 RPM), Noise Level: 0.3 Sone (@ 1700 RPM).

You can set the RPMs low when you can-to reduce noise. Unfortunately, the price looks like it went up to $38.51. Still a good price at a little under $8.
