Some have reported google voice number is good for port in if you don't have any handy, need to pay $3 to unlock it.

I jumped in visible promo a few times, $200 card, free swap, ported out after 1 or 3 months, haven't had any problem so far. Those got cancelled might have opened too many lines.

I still have my Galaxy S9. Anything cheap that would be better at this point? I'm currently with Verizon and without doing the sneaky way my EIN isn't eligible to transfer to Visible.

Also, after the 3 months, can I switch to my S9 on Visible?

I suggest reading this link before doing anything with Visible…and then Google for more info on Reddit. I was tempted to consider eventually going to them from Mint - but now no way in hell. Not risking losing my number.
