Don't pull that trigger! You can get that same tv all spaced out except 85 inch and a price tag of $2,700.00 along with the 11.5.2.1 at Samsung Shop online. The Theater surround sound list for $1,700.00 and that only set me back $1,200.00 With the savings on the tv the sound bar set up basically is free!
What? I have re-read this message 3 times and still don't understand your recommendation.

What does it mean for a TV to be "all spaced out"?
Where do you see a quality 85 inch OLED for $2,700.00?
What does a surround sound package of $1,700.00 have to do with any of this?
What math are you leveraging to conclude with $1,200.00?

And last, but arguably the most important, question is: what planet are you on?

Huh? You got a 85" OLED from Samsung who doesn't sell OLEDs?

What the F is a 11.5.2.1 stereo? Are you trying to say you bought a sound bar for $1,200?

I wish they'd just offer the tv with out the warranty and the gift card for $2,357. For most of us the warranty will essentially be useless/worthless.. and we have to pay sales tax on the tv, the warranty and the GC.
What's the going rate on Green-Toe? Looks like $2550 according to their gauge (haven't submitted an offer).

Pulled the trigger on this 83". Just had to change the screen size. https://www.newegg.com/lg-c1-83/p...6889007769 [newegg.com]
You could get it at green toe somewhere $4000-$4100. I pulled the trigger for a G1 77 priced at $3095. That's tax (no-tax) and shipping included.

Damn this is the deal I'm looking for. I wish Best Buy could match this, so I could use my BB credit card and get 0% for 24 months. Would they at least match the gc? Has anyone ever tried that?

I was able to get in on the LG Partner EPP deal for the 77" C1. There were a lot of people who called me out because I said the price jump from the 77" to 83" was massive. The 77" was $2350 shipped, and I believe the 83" was $3900. Later on in the thread you'd see the same people who initially bought the 83" try and cancel or sell it off because they were able to get the 77" at the cheaper price. With the money saved, you could buy another OLED or put it towards anything else. I confirmed that my 77" C1 has an EVO panel as well. It's plenty bright. If LG continues to offer various discounts through their EPP, I will definitely buy my next OLED from them.
How did you get this deal when I use the LG partner site is $2550 plus tax and shipping. did you have a promotion code you can share

The deal is long over my friend. The original thread was posted on 11/23/2021.

Here's the thread for reference - Link

Setting up alerts by specific terms is the best way to be notified about deals. I'd set up an alert for LG, OLED, Sony etc. The best deal was definitely the LG C1 77" for ~$2300 depending on sales tax. That deal was super annoying because people noticed that LG dropped the price by $100 later on so you had people doing multiple orders to save more money instead of keeping their original order. I had to check for availability multiple hours a day. I even set up an auto refresh on the Slickdeals page to see if members posted any updates regarding stock. We've had our set since late December, and it's gorgeous.

LG also had their Gallery series and A series on deep discount as well. The thread eventually turned into people consistently asking members to check their zip code to see if any of the TVs were available. Some people were able to get Best Buy or Video Only to price match. I didn't add the extended warranty on it, but if you credit card offers an extended warranty it should apply to that purchase.

Similar price point to Samsung LSP9T when it's on sale.... I truly can't decide between the two. Have a 6 year old LG OLED which I love.... but a 130" image is tempting.

You also need a good ALR screen to make the short throws really work and that adds another $600-$1000 to the price as well. A Short throw will be my next purchase but they are surly more money.
