I know very little about headsets/audio quality, so keep that in mind, but I've had this for maybe 1-2 years, and the headset is the definition of "fine" for me. It works enough for me to not get a new one, but I don't love it either. Audio could be louder at max volume and it could be more comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
Decent headset, got a like new Amazon warehouse return for $15 last Prime day. Make sure to get the matching kitty ears
I had a pair of these and as much as I liked the green aesthetic and general sound (input and output) it did not hold up very well in the long run. The faux leather ear cups started to flake and disintegrate about a year out. Far too soon in my experience.

I have been using these daily for almost three years. I love them. I have not used any expensive headphones so they sound good to me. I think the best thing about these is the two year warranty. When I bought them the volume adjustment thing stopped working within 3 months and razer replaced them with a new pair which I have been using for 3 years.
I used to always buy sennheiser before these and they would usually stop working in 12-15 months and I would have to get something else. But razer has been going strong for me. I would definitely recommend!
I bought these for my son last year and ended up having to return them because he was only getting audio in one ear. Razer ended up replacing with a better model, Razer Kraken Ultimate, since this one was out of stock at the time.
I got these for a similar price from Fred Meyers. I've used them for over 100 hours to play co-op games online. They are a great value at $40. There are better headphones, but you don't want better headphones you, want $40 headphones. I'd recommend them if you need a pair and don't want to spend a lot. My only complaint is they are like ear muffs and in the summer can get hot at which point I switch to earbuds.
Which is better, this headset or the Hyperx Cloud II that was on sale a little while ago? What sounds better and what is more durable? Thanks!
So I have this one, my friend has the Hyperx Cloud II and mine is far better. When playing 1st person shooters, I can hear peoples footsteps better, sooner and with better directional awareness than any of my friends and even the randoms I play with. I used to think maybe I was just lucky, but I bought two more for my adult children (who are very picky and brand snobs) and they also thought they were better than any others that they had used (including Beats by Dre).
So perhaps it is just these people on here that say they are just ok, or poor that are really the exception.

Seems like every wired headset just has a master audio control. The Xbox software that is supposed to separate the two sucks.
