QC 35 II - is out - just inferior and not worth it vs. cost
The XM4 - is legit on-par with these but its pretty expensive
The Airpods Pro - best feel, easiest to use, but way too expensive. They're maybe 10% better for 125% the price - also out in my book.
The WH XB900N - is almost half the price of the XM4 (I got it for $150 new) - Id take these over the XM4s just feel less premium holding but not around the ears
The NC 700 - hands down feel the most premium, smaller cups (so if you have big ears not going to work), and great sound quality
I ended up buying refurbished after researching it, they're refurbished by Bose completely new and backed by warranty. I got them for ~$200 I have had them for 6 months super happy with them, I also gave the XB900N to my girlfriend and use occasionally, if you are price conscious I would definitely go with those; sound the best IMO and have almost all the same features.
If you want something premium just because, these are hands down the best choice. They basically are new, the cups/case are new and at $200 they're like $150 less than the XM4 (same quality), $300 less than Airpods Pro (slightly below that quality), and only $50 higher than XB900N (slightly worse quality)
For price to performance/quality this is hands down the winner
Hopefully that helps!

I missed that thanks.
I can't speak about the Bose 700. But Airpods Pro + comply foam tips completely destroys my QC35ii in noise cancellation. I tested this in 4 flights and 4 different extremely busy airports.
Overall they are both pretty good (qc are more comfortable) but I rather hear nothing in a plane / airport. Transparency mode helped me not miss my boarding too
Are comply foam tips more comfortable than the stock tips that come with airpod pro?
I don't think they're anymore comfortable, but they actually stay in my ears now. I've been looking for Bose headphones for long flights. Thank OP

Yeah, no way I could wear airpods on the flights I take (4+ hours) the comfort factor is HUGE when using the Bose... but to each their own...
This uses USB C
