I have this drive. No problems after about 3 months of use. It's essentially the same as all the gen 4 drives that have 5000/4300 started speeds. Same controller, dram and arrangement

Anyone have experience with this drive/Brand?
I bought one of their drives once, and the drive went bad in less than 1 year. I contacted the company, and at first the rep tried to make the argument that they don't sell products on Amazon. Of course he had to check with someone and then he found out that they do sell on Amazon. Then he took down my information and they were supposed to contact me, but they never did. Then I read the product feedback and everyone seem to have this issue. I will never buy an inland product again.

I bought a 4 of their drives and after the one year mark 3 failed.
Customer service refused claiming they don't warranty products off Amazon. All sorts of excuses.

It isn't a MicroCenter brand but they may be able to handle warranty for it. Inland is an old 80s brand I think now it's just owned by a distributor who slaps the label on products where the manufacturer doesn't have or want name recognition.
Used to be able to buy this brand from Fry's, Staples, Office Depot/Max
This one is faster, but not as reputable a brand. Also, this is Gen 4, the 970 EVO Plus is Gen 3. The Samsung is running towards the max of Gen 3, this Inland is like middle of Gen 4 performance.

You are still being played by the NAND memory makers.
Still waiting to replace my 1TB NVMe SSD I bought four years ago for $69. Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron stop colluding to milk the consumer at 1-2TB kkthx. We are ready to be cheated at 8-128TB.
Digitimes: Samsung new NAND flash capacity coming online in 2H21 may worsen price falls.
Everyone has been brainwashed to eat these high prices because xyz reasons. It's easier and cheaper to print ssd NAND memory than make a hard drive yet you don't see those staying stationary at 1-2TB for the past 4 years.

I've never had an issue with any brand NVME drive though.

Got it at MC, so it's not an Amazon fake.
No problems at all.
