My approach here was.to do store pickup for the battery and ship the saw. I'll just not pickup the battery and it should eventually get canceled.

Used hack on jigsaw and sander last night, says it's available for pickup.
I usually have reservations about using these hacks, but HD and it's founder have shown they don't care about ethics, either ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Picked up the combo from the Home Depot locker then walked in and got a refund for the Powerstack battery. Jigsaw for ~$113. Great deal and find OP!

Just went in-store and did this without a hiccup. Purchased both, went to truck and dropped the tool off and then walked back in with the battery and returned it.

Worked great! BrickSeek showed 3 in stock at my local HD. Staff had to search the upper shelves to find mine. After purchase and placing the jigsaw in my truck I was able to go right back in to return the battery at customer service. Worked without a hitch, thanks for sharing!

Following up here for posterity. This worked fine. Saw was delivered today, then I was able to cancel the store pickup for the battery.

I ordered saw shipped to me, battery for in store pickup. Immediately after ordering it's only letting me cancel the saw. But once it's ready for pickup I'll see if I can cancel, otherwise just not pick it up.
