Dang I remember playing this as a kid forever ago, and had no idea they re-released it! Is it pretty identical? I have my old set at my parents house somewhere.
Also I got this as a gift as a kid and there's no way it was over $100 back then! Tabletop gaming has really changed. Evolved, really, and for the better. (Except for my wallet)

Man, I have some fond memories of this game. One of my classmates had it when we were 5th grade and we played it at the park. While I'd love to indulge in some nostalgia, it's a hard pass for me at $82+.

True. And Jay Powell is also in this new version of the game. He is the smallest hero piece, doesn't have to move or fight anyone. Flips a switch and kills everything on the entire board and automatically wins the game whenever he wants.

grabbed this game at a yard sale back as a pre-teen, loved it to death. unfortunately, many of the figures and cards are in rough shape so it's great to be able to grab a fresh set at a semi-reasonable price. new copies of the original were well over $300 when I was tracking it.
