I wouldn't worry about it being overkill unless it just doesn't fit. I've literally never heard anybody say "I wish I'd bought worse speakers"

Which one do you guys suggest for this bundle?
Yamaha TSR-700 or Onkyo TX-NR6100
Assuming home theater setup vs just audio I'd go with Onkyo 6050 from Costco. It's cheaper than 6100 and basically the same thing.

I'm thinking of getting this bundle of speakers. But want to make sure if Yamaha would be better or onkyo. Costco now doesn't have 6050 in stock

Bro just get the yamaha. It will be more reliable and usually sound better. Klipsch speakers are easy to drive so it will be good for power as well. Yamaha receiver is cheaper too. I have the tsr-700 from costco.

I purchased Costco Klipsch system https://www.costco.com/klipsch-re...65767.html and Denon receiver. Is this better or Costco one?

150W per channel @ 8ohms, receiver 100 W per channel @ 8 ohms. How will this help?? Can I amp this to receiver to 150W??
150 W per channel is the max power rating for the speakers. You don't need anywhere near that much to drive these to a volume that 99% of people would find acceptable. You can buy external amps but you'd need a receiver with pre-outs and even a low cost amp at 150W per channel will cost $400 or more.

Not 4X better. This set does include a subwoofer though, so not a direct comparison.

It seems like Klipsch is always on sale at Adoroma. I really only need the Front towers and Center channel... do they ever have sales on the individual speakers, so I don't have to buy sub and surrounds?

For starters this bundle has a nice $400 dollar subwoofer whereas Jamo doesn't include one so the price isn't a 1:1 match

Jamo is a good budget system if you've never had a set up before. The problem is, once you get into higher end equipment, your ears will never allow you to downgrade again lol

I'm really tempted by this because I'm starting a dedicated home theatre. I'm just afraid this might be overkill for my little 10x10 room.
Definitely overkill! I have this system for a 18x24 room and it pumps! For your size room, a sound bar and sub would be more than enough. Sonos has a really good set.

This set is the reference series, not reference premier. Not even close. Now the presidents day sales from newegg (i know most people hate them) were slick. I am only in 1500 with tax on 2 RP-280F, 4 RP-160M, and a RP-440C. That is a solid home theater set with the SVS subs I picked up also.

Yes, But the price is double. I just did from costco and because for the fact of warranty and piece of mind I'm just going to use these 625fa from costco. As they sound just perfect for my home theatre that I just set up and combined with 2 wireless sub from costco.

Agree, My Basement room is 18x30 and the set from costco with two subs is plenty. What have you set your gain and low pass HZ? I just got done setting up and running cables past weekend so I'm still tweaking and messing with the settings until I find it to where it is good.
