I have 3*4k monitors in portrait orientation on my desktop right now at 100% scaling. If I switched to a 8K tv , I could replace all 3 monitors and pick up some more pixels... There isn't much 8K content at all beyond what's available on youtube AFAIK. Still, there are certainly people that could use this as a much-less-expensive 8k monitor.

Most 8k native contrast ratio TVs are mediocre. Not much 8k content. Reliance on upscaling. Very little noticeable improvements in picture quality. Not recommended.

People really are ignorant on just how many folks utilize multi monitor setups. retail Day Traders for example love 8k TVs.
